  Being a Pro-Life Atheist

  it's strange and i'm not sure if it's because of my upbringing, but i just can't be pro-choice.

  i just don't see the rational justification (other than a situation where the mother's life is in danger).

  i don't, however, see a problem with stuff like the morning-after pill, when the embryo is just a group of cells with no consciousness.

  Hidden Social Conditions

  you know it's relatively easy to break the stated rules of jws: smoking, drinking, riding in cars with the opposite sex, saying god bless you, signing up to vote, singing the national anthem, etc.

  it is freaky in the beginning but you get over it.

  however, i have found some extra baggage that i carry from being a jw that i never recognized.

  part of this may have been i decided to keep my full beard.

  ever catch yourself thinking about a coworker, and noticing little quirks they have, like anything they do, they have to like announce it???

  lol!

  yesterday, my coworker was doing a weekly hour balance for our drivers.

  My Book of Bible Stories

  i just got my hands on a copy of my book of bible stories ... (1978).

  at first i was excited when a friend pulled it out of his bag, said he'd gotten it as a kid.

  then i started flipping through, looking at the pictures, feeling the memories spin in my brain.
