NEW FLIP FLOP Alert! My Research on New Leaven Understanding
by Metamorphosis inearlier there was a thread stating at the annual meeting a new understanding of the leaven in matthew 13:33 was to be announced indicating it no longer would be understood to mean something corrupt but rather something righteous.
this led me to research (just using the wt cd) what the past thoughts on it had been - this is not the first reversal on the understanding - first see what the watchtower had to say in the late 1800's (as stated in the 75 watchtower):.

Who is GUILTY for the JW's killed in the concentration camps?
by Metamorphosis inobviously the nazi's hold bloodguilt in part for the jw's who died in the concentration camps.. but unlike jews who could not change who they were, could not become un-jew and would have been killed anyways, jw's were often offered release if they renounced their faith as a jw.. since it is obviously a false teaching they were led to believe - that their eternal salvation rested on being & staying a jw - does the governing body (leadership) hold some bloodguilt, are they accountable in some way, for the atrocities that fell upon jw's?.
or is it merely a principle thing - that no matter what religion/belief was held, one should not be asked to give it up at the whim of a dictator?.
does the individual jw hold any fault based on whether they refused to sign over principle of freedom of belief or whether it was fear of losing their salvation by leaving a certain denomination?.

Twisted Logic on Daniel 4 and Revelation
by Metamorphosis ini was initially researching why the wtbts applies daniel 4 to the gentile times.
the only explanation really given is because both revelation and daniel use the term "times".
so since revelation uses the term time, times, and half a time which is 1,260 days and then daniel uses the term 7 times which represents 2,520 days it must have been god's secret way of telling us that daniels prophey meant something more.

Need Everybody's Help!!
by Metamorphosis inok - i've placed myself in a make or break situation.
i don't post a lot so you may not be familiar with me, but feel free to read my initial post on my situation.
a little has changed - i've now not turned in a service report the last two months (june and july) - first time in 25+ years, it feels great!

Whew, what a relief!

had to refresh my mind on what quality advice and info is .
it was actually kinda weird seeing so much focus on jesus which is quite 'not the norm'!

by Metamorphosis intalking to a friend of mine the other day.
he's a 22 year old witness.
he said something to me about not going out on saturday mornings anymore and i responded i didn't know the bible set a certain time and day i had to do my ministry.

If God got ticked at Moses...
by Metamorphosis inlast night as i was doing my customary tossing and turning till 4 in the morning i got to thinking about the account of moses and the water from the rock.
now, we may or not believe in the literal take on that anymore - but the wt surely does.
if god got that angry about one incident of a human setting himself up as the one who accomplished something done with god's power, that he would deny moses, a longtime servant, entry into the promised land.... how must he feel about the org?

This site is BAD for me!!!
by Metamorphosis init's making me want to rush the convincing of my wife - i want confrontation now, and i want it to go good, and i want her out with me!
how can you folks do this to me... before starting on this site i was just trying to get by myself w/ my decision - see what you've done!!!!
now i'm convinced i have to talk to her and make her see what i see!!
