There's "no proof" that Bill Clinton sold pardons for cold hard cash either.
There's "no proof" that Jesus, in all those undocumented years between 12 and 30 went to Rome either, but I'd be willing to bet that he did.
according to the watchtower- april 1, 2001, p. 11, par.
11, peter went to babylon (1peter 5:13) but according to tradition it was thomas who went to babylon.
so what is meant by babylon?.

when jws are angry due to some injustice their 'organization' has experienced, they allow themselves to have this anger and label it "righteous indignation".
but ... when ex-jws are angry, the society calls it 'gnashing our teeth in anguish, whinning, bemoaning some defective spiritual condition, or mad-dog apostates.'.
now, the time has come for ex-jws and really anyone not associated with the jws to have righteous indignation as the watch tower society and its leaders are going to face public examination of their dirty laundry.
WHAT Dateline? What's the date and time of this show? I wouldn't miss it for a date with Sophie Marceu. Somebodyhelpmeplease!!
AMAZING! Please get in touch with me direct as soon as you can. I am writing a book now for the partners of people suffering multiple personality disorder. I was inspired because I was with a woman for six years who had MPD as a result of being sexually abused and tortured by a pair of special pioneers. I'm a writer and have many years experience in dealing with the media. Let me help! Please.

every source i've looked at is very vague and my witness friends just keep encouraging me to stop asking questions and come to meetings.
my sense is, since i disagree so much with jw doctrine and the way it is presented in awake and especially watchtower that i'd never make it as a jw.
still i am curious what the process is and what "tests" if any one must pass.. any info will be much appreciated.. thanks,.
Ask for a copy of the questions that you must answer in the affirmative just prior to baptism if you want to get down to the nitty gritty gang bang.
Essentially, you must give up your own thinking ability. You must subscribe to things that do violence to your own sense of love, mercy, and compassion. You also must agree to concepts that were discarded by thinking, feeling, sincere people two thousand years ago. You will be required to cut off your relationships with friends and family members whom you love because they don't share your new system of beliefs; they will become nothing but worthless "wordly" people whom you may not associate with. Your value and worth to the congregation will be measured by the amount of time and by your success in selling Watchtower propaganda from door-to-door, an activity you will learn to despise.
You will be expected to accede to the thinking of elders who haven't the sense to come in out of the rain. You will be expected to ignore irrefutable evidence of child sex abuse. You will be expected to look the other way when a male JW abuses his wife and children emotionally, psychologically, and physically. You will be expected to give your life without complaint if a medical procedure necessary to save your life is not approved by the noted medical and spiritual experts at WT headquarters. You will give up any pretense of owning and controlling your own free time. If you are not at every one of the five meetings a week, plus several hours of peddling WT propaganda door-to-door, you will be hauled before an ecclesiastical kangaroo court to explain yourself to those same men soaking wet from the rain. Your intimate relations with your partner will come under the scrutiny of the elders in the congregation, and you can be humililated before the congregation if you like to do anything viewed by the JWs as even slightly kinky. Oral sex is verboten, as are several other interesting activities. Plan on spending your summer vacation sitting in an overcrowded, overheated auditorium, eating powdered eggs for breakfast, listening to dull speeches delivered by pompous, illiterate, jackasses attempting to explain away the latest failure of JW prophecy as a "natural enough mistake to make."
In short, prepare to kiss your life goodbye. And realize that I've only been hitting the high spots in this story. If I have exaggerated one point, I invite any other good apostate to point it out. Do not listen to any JW in this regard because the truth is not in them.
Good Luck, and please accept my condolences.

many of you have already seen this, but there are also many new ones posting and lurking.
this is a little handy reference to help you understand dub-speak.
i've updated it an added a number of new terms and expressions.. ----------------------.
Farkel, that was/is a masterpiece. I nominate you for the Pulitzer Prize, or I would if I could get up off the floor and catch my breath.
the forum director posted this to the coolboard h2o site and thought many here might want to get this new url (at bottom of post).
(note: i cross posted this to the jw news section as well).
kismet.
COMF:
I am speaking the truth as I personally experienced it. And I'm speaking from my experieince not yours. Your statement that I'm not speaking the truth is a gratutitous, egregious, arrogance.

the resident jws who post here and of course the jws around the world all feel that god has an organization and that they are it.
further, they ask 'where else would you go' if you talk about leaving their organizaton.
the jws talk about the organization in such terms as "it's the truth," or "wait on the organization," or "don't run ahead of the organization" as though god's divine name were really organization.. here is something that jws, and maybe some ex-jws need to understand: god (whether you call him jehovah, yahweh, jesus, buddah, allah, or any other fine name does not have any organization in heaven or on earth.
Amazing, your post hit the nail right on the head. I've never believed that God has an organization either.
And I don't think it's smart to attribute to either the ancient Isrealites, or to the Hebrews at the time of Jesus, an awareness, a mental capability, a viewpoint and outlook like that which humans are capable of today. Projection is a common failure in human thinking. That is a mode of thinking that says, "I understand it, so you must understand it."
In this light, then, when Jesus used so many parables about a "king" and "kingdom" he was attempting to penetrate the mental limitations of the Hebrews at the time of his speaking. Upon the foundation of the parables of Jesus, the Borg has built the superstructure and ideal of God's "Organization." But for Christ's sake, why can the Borg not realize Jesus stories are called parables for a reason?
PARABLE - A short, ficitious story that illustrates a moral attitude or religious principle.
So, in basing the entire idea of an "organization" upon the parables of Jesus, the Borg has built on the sand of a FICTITIOUS story. And no house built on sand will stand.
Jesus was attempting to make a point, to illustrate an idea, to get across to an intellectually challenged populace the idea of the family of the spirit, and something about how the family worked. He didn't use the idea of a kingdom exclusively. He used vineyards, and fishermen, and farmers and everything possible to puncture the ignorance of the people of his time.
Your post is a beautiful argument against the absurd interpretations made today by the cult of JWs. Thanks for making it.
And ApostleAK, before I begin to permanently ignore you altogether, who gave the WTB&TS the authority to run ahead of the parables of Jesus, giving them a self-serving meaning they do not otherwise have?
(entire article).
questions from readers.
in view of jehovahs willingness to forgive sins by the merit of the ransom sacrifice, why is it necessary for christians to confess to the older men in the congregation?.
I submit that greasing them up with oil was done for physical sicknesses, not spiritual. Look at the quote. Forgiveness of sins was included in subordinate language in that statement. Of course little details like subordinate and subjunctive phrases don't mean much to the Borg - they don't understand them in the first place.
raising awareness to the issues at hand.

Charmed, I'm sure.
As noted, it is - after all - sex with someone you love.

btw...........welcome!.
it would be nice to hear from you again!
i hope our little difference of opinion will not get in the way of our common quarry!.
Get in the way? Not by the hair of your chinny chin chin.
I used to be on the collegiate debate team. Thrive on differences of opinion. Been having computer troubles the last few days. Just about to get them resolved here shortly. Francoise2 means I'm using the desktop in my office instead of the laptop in my living room - my preferred machine as it is wired up next to my big leather rocker recliner in front of the fireplace and only a hop, skip, and jump from the nearby oasis.
I shall be back soon in full force and effect, and I will be looking forward to meeting you there on the field of honor.
a poster who started another topic seemed to belittle the good work done by this board and other boards.
we're not doing anything here but jerking off!.
and was in favour of suing the pants of the wts!
JW, I can tell you that no matter how you phrase things, someone is going to be offended. And your observation about being brought up as a witness is very accurate.
We are surrounded on all sides by the perpetually petulant, the professionally put-off, by those quick to take offense, the authors of policical correctness. Just a fact of life, exacerbated by a good, wholesome JW upbringing.
No matter that 95% of males masturbate, and 87% of females do it, you certainly can't call it what it is. That's TOO much truth. And you certainly can't go around pretending to be superior if you're going to call a spade a spade.
