Why just polygamy ...why not open marriage then ? ... To give equal opportunity to both sexes ? The whole idea is mine field for jealousy and insecurity . Human jealousy and possessive instincts make this system impossible to work.
Also how often have you not seen where polygmous communities become breeding grounds for child sexual abuse ?

have been a member of jwr since 2008 and have not been to hall since june 2009, have celebrated 2 yrs without memorial - woohoo - that being said i have stopped by here frequently and decided yesterday to join your group.. it has been very enjoyable to read your stories as well as the other group i have been with, and so it just seemed reasonable to belong to both.. my story is no differant than all the others, the only thing is i was not born in.
that being said i also have no real issues with being an apostate (although i do believe it is used in the perjorative sense by the wt).. peace - brad.
in some previous posts i have asked certain questions that still haven't been answered.
so without going back to those threads and possibly de-railing them i thought it best to make a new topic.
please bear with me.. i have asked certain ones to prove the existence of god or christ without referencing any biblical writings or characters.
it is so draining for me to constantly read threads by atheists that assert that those of who are uncertain or have faith have irrational minds.
god can not be proven or unproven.
the harping is tedious.
to be a good jehovah's witness you must:.
have a fear of growing old and be vain about how you look.. struggle to make decisions.. be a nobody who can have power over others.. have a mental disabliity.. have a physical disabilty who wants a cure.. be normal, but have parents who are j.w.'s..
have had bouts of depression.. have a fear of being wrong.. the above are based upon people in the kh.

A true friends like the natural flow of who we fall in love with must come natural.
If you trust the system of the WT "clone " friends... dress the same, talk the same, thinkly exactly the same... you have stepped into an artificial world not the real world where our feelings and interests differ.

some individuals.. it's just not my cup of tea I guess !
