  as i fade further from the jws, i'm finding it increasingly hard to maintain faith in god.

  i've been exploring many alternatives from atheism, agnostic, apathetic, pagan, and satanism (not devil worship, but the promotion of self-indulgence) to name a few.

  i'm thoroughly intrigued to learn how those of you who remained christian managed to maintain your faith in god and christ, especially after enduring all the lies that we've been told about them.

  Reading just one verse without context or understanding the setting can be misleading and misunderstood without the proper framework

  But if I can't measure these things why would I put faith in their existence ....as they are intangible ?

  Abstracting is like tasting a wine, for example. You swish the separate components of the wine around your taste buds and compile a mental list of Pros and Cons in determining vintage, flavor,quality, etc.... you experience it

  Seeing is believing... but it is only one of at least 5 "senses" we have.

  as a daily visitor of this site i am shocked by how judgemental i am.. .

  if someone makes a valid point but does not spell well it colours my judgement.. .

  if someone who is a clown has excellent grammar i give them leeway.. as an aside i am a gramaphobe.. .

  do you think when someone takes things personally in a way they are "selfcentered" because "its all about them" .... or does it mean maybe that the person is just very caring and sensitive?.

  "(a phrase people use as a disclaimer to make an excuse to say or do something rude or mean to you to prevent you from having a poor self-image or so there won't be repercussions").

  when a person says not to take it personally, don't they mean it may be upset them ... just like they are requesting you not to be upset ?.

  Does it not come down to what is worship ..to what we hold as sacred, set part for special honor ?

  How do we chose to honor and who or what is it ? Honor nature ? honor God ? or honor self ?

  What is the meaning and purpose of all we see above and beyond us ?

  Worship I believe , is a natual response to what we hold in awe ...a deep gratitude ....which seeks to express itself...

  for knowledge we have come to know... for things that move the soul ... to celebrate great wonderment.
