  yea, agreed with everyone else.

  Im a really slow reader and I read it in a short time.

  I am about a quarter way through IN search of Christian Freedom. That will be ur next Good read.

  CoC kind of shows what happening with the org. This book shows u how to free your mind from the ingrained JW thinking. IMO

  your preaching to the choior brother. I am a very hot natured person. when I feel good, its probly freezing to everyone else. I remember when I did sound, it would be hot as hell and I would break down and take off the coat. I Got ahold of one of my letters when I switched congregations and it stated that I had issues with authority and that I would never put on my jacket cause I was rebelious. If Id known they were gonna put that in there, I would of taken off my pants too. I wondered then, if they though I was so rebelious, how come they kept using me for things.

  No offense, But until teams in the BIG 11 play some actual real teams. I consider that whole conference a JOKE. Give OSU or michigan an SEC schedule and I would love to see how well they do. Last year was a PRIME example. OSU vs. FLA. national championship game. They were not even in the same league. It was not even a good game. I know I probly stepped on some toes here, but come one. you know its true.

  need some advice

  hi all...always read seldom post.... i was just wondering if anyone has some advice for me in regard to a career.

  i have been home raising kids and know would like to re enter the work force.

  i took some design classes early on(in my 20's) but never got a degree.

  I would def. look into a local community college. They are much cheaper and are more personal,IMO. My suggestion is GO. Thats the hardest part. Talk to admissions and they can help you find out what you wanna do. Also, dont be scared. I work at a local Community College. I would say that the middle aged parent is around 50% of the students here. So, your not the only one wanting to better your life.

  stopped into a local grocery to get fixin's for a caesar's salad yesterday pm.

  i was stunned to have seen 'jehovah's spirit' so active among 'his name people' in such a place!

  within 3 minutes of entering the store, i was shunned by 3 [separate] jw's.

  Thats a pretty raw deal. For me, that is THE 1 thing that has turned me away. The judgment and lack of love that is shown. I was talking to my dad one day about how I beleive shunning is totally wrong and I asked him, WWJD(what would Jesus do). Do you think he would shun people the way they are shunned today by the witnesses. He pretty much acknowleged that I was right.

  2008 Yearbook?

  so, when does the 2008 yearbook get released?

  i remember years ago the yearbook would start production in the bindery about mid-november...but that was when it was a hardback and had the daily texts.

  can we expect to see the annual report soon?

  I think for the society, it would be PURE genious to stop publishing the count. I mean think about the rumors. People would start to think the end is even closer if they thought that the 144,000 quota was nearing its end.

  Giving Talks in the Ministry School

  anyone else here hate giving talks and refuse to do it?

  the last two years i was in the borg, i was not in the school.

  everytime the elder in charge of it approached me to "encourage" me to join again, i would have a melt down, cry and pretend i was so depressed and overwelmed that i just could not do that one thing for "jehovah", and i would act like i may commit suicide if he stresses me out over joining the school again.. i got out of it with 3 elders, in two different congregations.

  I honestly can say, I enjoyed giving talks. I was always for the most part relaxed. I loved number 4's. WHY u may ask. Reason is I always remembered sitting through the talks and they were all the same. people with no public speaking ability whats so ever quoting lines from the reasoning book. My goal was to be original. I would always have some bizzare illustration. I would always wonder if all the compliments I got were just the usual "great talk", like everyone gets. But, it always seemed that they were actually paying attention because they would always say something about my illustration. I always had fun with em. But that was just me.

  usually you have a secret question or something you can answer to reset the password. Also, you usually give an alternate email account when you setup a new account. Outside of these things, not too there is much else you can do.
