ApostleAK,
If you can find a perfect translation, then go ahead. But nobody cannot change the meaning of the scriptures.
this one scripture has bothered me for a while.
i've asked elders everywhere on this one and just get confused looks.... according to a wt in 1953, the nwt rendering of 1:1 at the time was: "paul, an apostle of christ jesus thru god's will, to the holy ones who are also faithful ones in union with christ jesus.".
wouldn't the correct rendering be: "paul, an apostle of christ jesus thru god's will, to the holy ones who are [in ephesus] who are also faithful ones in union with christ jesus."???

You need some advice? You going the wrong way.
a number of years ago i read a book called the tower of darkness which included actual pictures taken from wt publications supposedly containing demonic images.
some were very convincing others not so or just a little convincing.
does anyone know if any more images have appeared in publications from the last three years?
Stevieb1,
If you want to see some demonic images, then look at Ray Franz and Jame Penton books.
this is a part of the sociological puzzle that's worth.
what motivates these guys to hang on?.
's i've encountered in the past ten years are.
Metatron,
Are you going to tell us that all apostates are in good health?
it would take almost two years to visit every office , if you were at each one a week.......no wonder the gb has no time to check what is printed in the magazines.
how to contact us.
while we do not answer questions by electronic mail (e-mail) over the internet, we are happy to help individuals study the bible in their own home.
They may write some articles but not all of them.
mr nojo posting again, thought i would give a try, while my wife is still a little out sorts, read so many interesting posters, that i thought to myself, what happened to us when we under the water, we must of been hypnotized , after that we all attended ass.

Crossroads,
I rather have these old men write the articles rather than you. And don't fantasize to much about them. Why? Because they are already married.
cute parody titles aside..... i, rochelle, am finally moving out of my parents' house in a couple of weeks.
i've found a wonderful college senior with an apartment to share (and it's just a stone's throw from ann arbor, my favorite place in the world), and i'm in a bit of a tizzy figuring out what to do, what to pack, what to leave, what to sell, when to do what, all that fun stuff.. my question is, should i sell my jw books on e-bay?
would anybody buy them?
Larc,
How do you know I wasn't out in field servicethis morning? I think you and expatbrit should hook up together and talk about moral standards.

Sunchild,
I have a friend from Ann Arbor. What is your motive going there? And if you think is hunky dory over there, then you are wrong. There are alot of students over there do not know good moral standards. Oh, I don't have to tell you. You will know when you get there. Plus, you better keep your Bible and Bible publications. Why? You going to need as reminders because the students are not going to tell you nothing about the facts of life.
