  i found a very nice internet page where you can really learn many fact about jehovah's witnesses.. please go to yahoo and search for research on the watchtower.. i hope fred reads this site.. comments?

  Thirty Years a Watch Tower Slave

  perhaps the first widely distributed book written by a former witness about the watchtower society is, thirty years a watch tower slave by william j. schnell, baker book house, grand rapids, mi, 1956. its been out of print for several years, and very few libraries still have the book.

  schnell was born in 1905, and was part of the watchtower movement from 1921 to 1954. .

  in part, the foreword reads: by the lords grace i am a christian.

  Hey, I read alot of sites regarding 587 or 607. And I come to a conclusion as being bunch of sh*t. Ptolemy was not a historian ,so this would mean he did not go by what historians said back then. Plus, he did not know anything about history (even Bible history). He was into Middle East astronomy which he did not agree with it's caculations.

  WTBTS Monitoring Discussion Boards??????

  just curious many say that the org monitors dbs, but anybody have concrete proof of this??

  oh by the way at the recent ca dbs were mentioned from the platform!!!

  the thought was "some jws were visting jehovahs witness discusssion boards and trying to correspond with some"...might not be exactly what was said(not an actual quote)...they mentioned put a doubt in your mind and start questioning your beliefs!!!

  this one scripture has bothered me for a while.

  i've asked elders everywhere on this one and just get confused looks.... according to a wt in 1953, the nwt rendering of 1:1 at the time was: "paul, an apostle of christ jesus thru god's will, to the holy ones who are also faithful ones in union with christ jesus.".

  wouldn't the correct rendering be: "paul, an apostle of christ jesus thru god's will, to the holy ones who are [in ephesus] who are also faithful ones in union with christ jesus."???
