by Skimmer ini came across this little tidbit on the united states postal rate commission web site: http://www.prc.gov/documents.asp?docid=26246.
they reference a legal brief ( http://www.prc.gov/docs/26/26246/watchtower-brief.pdf) filed by the wtbts where the brooklyn boys want their postal rates to stay as cheap as possible.
the brief is full of technical details, but there is one sentence of note early on in the document.

Demons,ghosts,& wierd happenings

i just wanted to point out that i am not a complete skeptic about these things i just think that there are many possible explainations besides the standard jw "it was demons" response.
firstly, i'd like to reinterate that i respect the reality of your experiances in the realm of the para-normal so i'm not arguing that you are all lying or that you're crazy, i am merely questioning the cause of the event.

Last Days?
by betweenworlds ini'm just wondering if when anyone else hears people (jw's) say "well we must be living in the last days because look how awful the world is, look how awful people are to each other, look at the earthquakes, etc, etc, etc" that is doesn't really seem to make sense?
i mean look at the old testament.
i don't think people could be any crappier to each other than the examples put forth there!
