I think I might be taking work too seriously
by Elsewhere inin the last year no less than three people have taking to referring to me using "sir".
it's normally "yes sir" .
or "sir..." to get my attention when they need something.. these are not my buddies at work that i cut up and joke with... these are others who [gulp] look up to me.

I'm confused I guess about what kind of response you're expecting.
Yes, loyal hard core dubs don't join the military.
That in and of its self does not negate the rest of the deplorable acts that they commit against their own members.
They may not shoot at other human beings in a war situation, but they are just as bloodguilty as those who do.
