  First Reason I am Agnostic and Not Athiest

  because of what i can see with my eyes and this is what i saw:.

  i saw an ugly man, his son, his girlfriend and another man.

  the ugly man sent his son to a party and told him to bring back meat.

  Because of what i can see with my eyes and this is what i saw:

  I saw an ugly man, his son, his girlfriend and another man. The ugly man sent his son to a party and told him to bring back meat. He did. He convinced 2 young girls looking for drugs to come with him and meet his "friends" and score some drugs. When they finally reached the "friends" the ugly man punched one of the girls in the stomach and they proceeded to take them both into the woods. Once there the first one was raped. But not only was she raped she was put on her stomach and stabbed in the back with a long hunting knife over and over. Then she was sodomized and then the ugly man wiped his hands clean all over her and disposed of her in a nearby lake. The second victim tried to escape and did, but was caught not far away While trying to escape this victim somehow stabbed the ugly man's son in the genital area since she had been fighting with the ugly man's girlfriend and was gaining the upper hand.The ugly man then killed his own son saying "I brought him into this world and i can take him out of this world." When she was caught she was tied up and the ugly man used his hunting knife to tear her apart in half. This is a true story. And if it was about your daughter or your son how many of us would rationalize ,that, this is merely human behaviour by a small "normal" percentage of insane criminals no different from the animal kingdom? (No one would reason like that. I would say that i want vengence. I want them to feel the same pain they inflicted , Is the mans ability to kill equalled by the victims parents ability to kill the killers? Maybe. and yet people look to a higher power for comfort and vengence even forgiving those foolishly perhaps but they do).AT ANY RATE WHEN SUCH A CATASTROPHE HAPPENS A PART OF OUR BRAIN SCREAMS OUT FOR VENGENCE and JUSTICE. And what happens when we cant get it? WE look for a reason. We look for a purpose. We look for meaning. ITS THE LOOKING part that makes me question whether another intelligence is involved in mankinds affairs. That looking is what i cant dismiss. THe searching for answers. THe searching for why the evil? What does it"all" mean? "GOD" only knows.Written by an emotion and organically based creature

  just want to get a feel for who this person is, what type of environment helped mold his world view, and what his likes and dislikes are.

  whatever your opinion of him you have to admit that he's a character.

  BUDDY , I gotta tell you. All the prophecies, the photos and the integrity of these proofs, and any and every proof, and any and every word uttered by YOU at any time in the past, and at any time in the future PALES into complete insignificance when YOU compare it to WHO YOU ARE deep INSIDE. Maybe you will never change spiritually, Perhaps you will always have a strong desire to read the Bible and study it. THESE THINGS WILL NEVER COMPARE WITH WHO YOU ARE INSIDE,your real wants and desires from life. I UNDERSTAND you HAVE CONNECTED OR ARE CONTINUALLY TRYING TO CONNECT the person who you really are with the one you HAVE DEVELOPED.. But one day your going to realize that you were dreaming 99.9% of it. Maybe you will say that your life was so screwed up that believing in the JIOR, and other things kept you from committing suicide. Maybe not. But the point is LIFE IS NOT FOREVER its so short. LIFE IS SHORT..Keep telling yourself JC. LIFE IS SHORT LIFE IS SHORT. START LIVING AGAIN START LIVING AGAIN START LIVING.AGAIN.

  i recall i was in service with ken little, the canadian branch committee overseer, and he took the first door.

  the magazines were talking about nuclear war and its impending disaster.

  so ken little introduces himself and says "good morning sir,did you know that every minute they spend millions of dollars on the manufacturing of weapons......" the homeowner looks straight at him and says "yeah?

  I just remembered so more..lol...

  In NY we were looking to start an Italian congregation so we started out by asking ppl if they spoke Italian. This one house, I speak no word of a lie, when i walked up the stairs and knocked on the open door with the screen and asked if anyone spoke Italian ,there were 2 women lying on a "bed" together! I didnt know what to think or say i just repeated Do YOu speak ITalian? it hit me that they were doing something together -cause they were holding each other....but i was too stupid to "investigate", or ask more questions, and I just walked away after one of them got up on her knees and just stared at me.

  Another time, i was at one door with a younger jw, and there were roofers working on this Italian guys roof. When i saw the homeowner, I said "HI HOW ARE YOU! (in italian), he smiled back and kept saying "oh hi hi , come on over, please, " I then said" can i walk on over your grass?" He said "Of course, For Sure, come on , come on over!" As we approached him, he stopped smiling a little at a time and as soon as i got to 2 ft away to shake his hand he RIPPED ME APART, RIPPED MY A NEW ASSHOLE. He started "Get the F**K off my property, I ll smash your face ..get the F**K out of here, and together with the roofers(all italian)..."Go get a job! Get a Job you lazy.*****)*&*_)!! ers!" So all could try to do was salvage some dignity so i said"what you dont like my service bag?"..But OMG was i dejected.

  Lastly, when i was about 5 yrs old i remember my father went to door and started preaching to this much older lady in Italian. All i remember is she picked up the broom she used to sweep the steps and started whacking my father over the head with it until he left!!!!..We laughed about it after,but never ever acknowledged that we were unwelcome/uninvited/unwanted..ect..because, oh u know, "they ll change tomorrow" if they become sheeplike....

  QUESTION FOR BIBLE BELIEVERS Mathew 17:27

  recently to pass the time at the mtg i was dozing thru mathew( while the speaker..whatever..) at any rate.

  i found math 17:27 peculiar of a certain smell, lets call it an unpleasantness.,out of respect for u guys.

  why would jesus have peter leave, go fishing, and go thru the trouble of finding the 1st fish and a coin to pay the tax inside the mouth of this fish, when all he had to do to hasten the paying of the tax was produce it.

  (The obvious retort would be that he wouldn't use his powers to make money... but that's exactly what he DID with the fish, and nobody got cured in the process.)-Excellent point....I also thought of Chris Angel when i read this..lol....

Below is the answer of 2 online "christian" sources, one of which suggests it didnt even happen!....LOL...anyways what your take?"IN THE One final word needs to be said about the miracle of Mtw 17:27 where Jesus tells Peter to take a (line and) hook, go to the Sea and to catch a fish, inside of which he’ll find a stater (a coin valued at one shekel) and that he is to pay the tax for both of them. It’s plain to the reader that, although this command is given to Peter, the author doesn’t go on to tell us that this actually took place and Matfran comments that ‘...it has been plausibly suggested that Jesus’ words were merely a playful comment on their lack of ready money’but, if this is the case, it’s difficult to see how Jesus could ever have paid the tax that year. Matmor notes that others take the phrase to mean something along the lines that Peter is to be more concerned with fishing and that the tax will look after itself but he concludes, however, that ‘...if this is what Matthew meant, he has recorded it in a very strange way. It is better to understand him [or ‘Him’?] to mean that there would be a real coin in the mouth of a real fish’ and this is the easiest of all the options. Just because the miracle isn’t recorded as happening needn’t imply that Jesus’ words meant anything other than that the incident would occur."

  JC I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY ..AH...HEART..FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE. I READ THE WHOLE THING. AND I THINK I SPEAK FOR EVERYONE ON THIS DISCUSSION BOARD WHEN I SAY, THAT , I VOTE THAT WE PRESENT YOUR LIFE EXPERIENCE TO BE PUBLISHED AS A LIFE STORY ARTICLE IN THE AWAKE OR WATCHTOWER.   am i the only one that finds it interesting that religious people argue and make jabs at jcanon?.

  you cant understand that every jesus, moses, and saul of tarsus was a jcanon that happened to be 'deified' in some way posthumously?.

  do you really see a difference between jcanon and saul of tarsus?.
