Mr. Flipper's Son Hears and Sees Bigfoot- I'm Serious, Not Joking
by flipper ini know i'm setting myself up here, but here it goes.
first of all if you want to crack funnies about this or jokes, that's perfectly cool, it's alright, i don't mind.
however this is a true story from what happened in may and my motive for writing about this is not just humor, but i want to see if anybody else has experienced what my son went through while being in the mountains or anywhere.

I know a person who is not prone to embellish. This person says they were travelling at a good rate of speed. There was nothing wrong and they were listening to music at the time they were driving. Then for NO reason ie: no warning like railroad signs or alarms, or the sound of a train, or the sound of a speeding car ...nothing..he suddenly felt he needed to stop the car. Which he did just before another car went right through his green light a few seconds later. He says he doesnt know why he did it. He had no warning or idea whatsoever that there would be a car going through. He says he just "felt it". He reacted on a feeling... That reaction saved him unnecessary suffering.
Now how many ppl do u know that save themselves out of a drunk driver accident before it happens? Doesn't happen. If it did we'd be getting decreases in our insurance premiums. Lots of lives would be saved. So it doesnt make sense that it should happen to one person and not to everyone? So like so many stories were left with Maybe this and Maybe that. I prefer to say I DONT KNOW.

A woman thought there was an intruder in her son's room, but there wasn't. Why, what's your take on it?
Sometimes when you hear a story and it sounds so ludicrous, bizarre or unbelievable, there should come a point where a person says I shouldnt debunk the experience because i havent experienced what they have. Just like when a trained police officer (see below) records an image and offers his opinion about what he saw- we might not agree but to dismiss it as imagination I think is dead wrong. It leads to taking the viewpoint that its impossible for an inexplicable event to be supernatural (for lack of a better word) I dont believe people are that stupid when it comes to identifying things that are extraordinary and unexplainable. As if we know everything! Just because we havent experienced what others have doesnt mean it's BS.

So, was it really 11:11 when you looked at the clocks, or were they all wrong? If a clock had been showing the right time and it wasn't 11:11, would it change to 11:11 when you looked at it? If you had proof of that, that would certainly indicate something beyond normal reality. But more likely, it was your drug-addled brain seeing patterns that weren't there. That seems to be confirmed by the fact that it stopped when you stopped taking drugs
You misunderstand. The time never changed. Of course if I checked the time at 0600 It wouldn't be 11:11. All im saying is that the amount of times I noticed 11:11 was absolutely mystifying. It was like I was being told "wake up and don't do that". Was I telling myself that by imagining it all? How do u imagine seeing 11:11 everywhere you go? Sometimes i felt like i was being watched. Thats paranoia. But seeing those numbers so many times makes me just shake my head at how stupid I was going down the wrong path. I could be wrong but I choose in this instance to believe otherwise.

I don't really go for the explanations given by others "in the know" but to this day its like a reminder to me never to go down that road again.

It's very important not to equate the two. Something you are unable to explain does not necessarily violate the known laws of the universe. It's probably advisable not to jump to the conclusion that it does unless the evidence is overwhelming.
True enough. But I couldn't then and still can't offer anything other than to say they were LIGHTS. Jumping to the conclusion that they were anything other than "lights" would have been unjustified.

Once when I was returning from work I decided to take a short cut home. It was the Halloween week and ppl had their houses decked out. I turned into a dark road that has a house just every so often. I noticed on my left that a homeowner had built a nice looking spaceship equipped with a martian inside it. It looked great and took me by surprise. As i kept driving I looked up and saw lights. Nothing like in the movies but just dozens of large sized lights in the sky and all close together. I knew they weren't stars. I could see stars. But these looked like big street lamps in the sky. I just sat there looking at them for a while. All i saw were lights in the sky. There's nothing to say that they weren't something else...but...I was shocked none the less.
Another time in my early 30's I was starting to use drugs. I was doing a lot things i shouldn't of been doing health wise and was on the wrong path. I can still remember getting up one morning and the microwave was flashing 11:11. I got into my car and the time was 11:11. I gave it no more thought until i kept seeing 11:11 everywhere i went. And I mean everywhere! My sleeping habits were the same as they had always been. Nothing was changed in my life. I kept taking way too many drugs and I had an overdose of MDMA. That happened 3x in 8 months.. But i was enjoying myself so i kept taking drugs and enjoying it along with a crazy lifestyle that was bordering on criminal behaviour. I would never look for 11:11 it's like it was looking for me. I would go to work still on drugs from the night before and I thought I was having fun. But i kept on seeing 11:11 everywhere i went. It came to the point that when i saw 11:11 i would say F**K off already!!! I never paid attention to time, because i "lived" in a casino for about 8 years. But anytime i looked at the time it was inexplicably 11:11. On the highway i would see huge 11:11 sign on the way to see my son. Over and over and over. This kept on happening for a solid year. And then it stopped when i decided to clean up. Of course there is a paranoia associated with drug use. But seeing 11:11 all the time started to scare me and I eventually came to see it as a warning sign for me. Fu*k me I know. Ocasionally when i see the # nowadays it reminds me to never start again what i left behind....
These arent paranormal per se . But perhaps some of you have had experiences that have stopped you dead in your tracks.

Now ur talking my language....I saw that movie when i was a little kid and yeah it scared the shit out of me ..but it wasn't memorable enough to stay with me...The only movie to scare me when i was growing up was Carpenter's Halloween..1978. I was so terrified of the music, the mask. ect...The Excorcist was ok. But Halloween is my #1 scariest movie from when i was a kid...I think i have watched more horror movies than anything else. Im still on the hunt for the next movie to scare the shit out of me I remember "The Temptress" was scary.. but a few yrs ago the remake of the Amatyville horror had some truly frightening scenes. (Maybe cause i was watching it at work at the time all alone and i was hearing noises.lol) What are your scariest movies you ve seen?
