  most who write here, don't belive in the jw teachings.. most are complainers and apostate.. does any one know were i can find a genuine jw site?

  Could do with some extra cash as making a decent living without a decent education which I sacrificed to be a pioneer is quite difficult.
  As for becoming slaves and not being free I think you need to examine your own life.As already covered you are violating WT law by even lurking here let alone posting.That's how free YOU are.
  You are obviously getting a kick out of this game but where is your christian love? Someone posted in here a signature used by a JW in another forum:Which end of the shovel will you be on? That made me feel sorry for him or her. They have completely lost the plot regarding Jesus' message.
  The hatred pouring out suprises me because it so often comes from the very people who call themselves God's people.
  I shiver at the thought of surviving Armageddon to the prospect of never ending life with ones capable of such malice and negativity.
  If you are a true Christian show us your love not judgement.Only God has the right to do that.

  all of you who are able to read and cull necessary information from the pages of the wt/awake.. because of 'where i am' on this journey of xjwdom, i would barf if i read even one page of their material.

  i know it is so full of lies and deceit and corporate word-wrangling.. so we need all of you to filter the garbage for us.. it's a dirty job but somebody's gotta do it.. thanks,.

  I can get the mags ok but I haven't got a scanner.
  I read a bundle of the latest issues last week and found nothing of interest and I mean NOTHING. It's the same drivel in the same monotonous tone that used to bore my knickers off 30 years ago.
  With gritted teeth I will continue to look out for incriminating evidence but I have to say the word is CAREFUL from the WTBS. They are walking on eggshells!!!

  Is this the latest craze for JW's?
  Every time I read this forum lately there is some "witness" spouting indignant and often insulting remarks at the regulars.
  Are you sure these screeching visitors aren't Fred Hall? Oh sorry silly me the spelling is too good.
  Maybe You Know then? MM maybe not-not boring and long-winded enough.
  My only comment to Sue is why are you still here unless you are getting a thrill from dicing with danger?
  Any other thrill-seeking lurkers out there with the guts to take a pop like good ol Sue? Will you have the guts to admit the curiosity is eating you up?Go on keep reading.After all if you have the truth then nothing anyone can say in here can change that surely.

  Sorry if you feel I was being hard on Ray Franz.I think his C of C book is a gem and a life saver and absolutely priceless. I suppose I am very much a dreamer and idealist but hey I don't begrudge Ray compensation for all he has been through and his hard work.
  I just feel that there is some great work being done by individuals on the net who use Ray's material to reach hearts of JW's trapped and crying out for help. They do not abuse the privilege and write their own researched articles as well.They are not in it for any material gain but only seek to inform and aid JW's to break free.
  Surely Ray would be delighted that his info is reaching JW's who although daring enough to lurk would faint if caught buying THAT book.
  In my opinion most people who have seen glimpses of Ray's books go on to buying them anyway.They've just had their taste buds tweaked.
  I'd love to hear Ray Franz' comments.

  And here was I in my naive little fantasy that ex-JW's wrote soul-stirring books to rescue their former brothers from the materialistic WTBS not for personal gain.
  Seems like in or out principles are tossed to the wind when they get in the way of making hard cash.

  JW's are nice people.Individually they are usually genuine and loving persons.
  Unfortunately they are misguided and have been misled by an organisation afraid to admit it is wrong mostly because this would herald an avalanche of lawsuits and money is an important issue to the WTBS.
  But you can find info on the org very easily.As easy as finding KH's in a telephone directory no doubt.
  Let he with a mouse just point and click...hmmm

  Hi everyone....

  as i sit in front of my computer in a drunken stupor wondering what might have been, i felt i had to post my story to those who might truly understand what i am going through.. i am a newbie here, but have been lurking around for the last few weeks.

  i am 25 years old, from ontario, and totally heartbroken.. to give you some background, back in 1998, i studied with the witnesses because some friends of mine, whom i believe to be honest and sincere people, gave me (i thought at the time) some good advice to start a book study.

  i did, and i really enjoyed it because i felt they presented everything factually and had a strong interpretation of the scriptures (i'm a facts man, you see).

  Just want to add my sympathy.
  Try not to feel bitter against her.She must be going through hell getting over you as well.Of course she will have a support system set in place with soothing voices telling her she has done the right thing and put Jehovah first.She probably feels like a righteous martyr.But don't forget she also will no doubt feel gutted and lost.Her refusal to listen to what you had to say is not a reflection of her lack of trust - the poor girl has no choice. She has been brainwashed to avoid any information that may shake her faith. She is steadfastly trying to stay loyal to God .Godly zeal is absolutely passionate especially at baptism.Romantic love comes second to a relationship with everlasting life as the ultimate orgasm.
  Get on with your life and try to think of her with kindness.Don't hold out any hope she will see sense as it is unlikely.Just slyly cross your fingers.
  Forgive her for choosing Jehovah over you as that is how she will see it.
  Try not to allow the final outcome to sully the beautiful moments you had together and the feelings you both experienced.
