Not interested in marriage/romance?
by LtCmd.Lore inokay, so the site is full of people talking about their husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, ex-wives, ex-husbands, ex-girlfriends and ex-boyfriends, childhood crushes, current crushes, future crushes, favorite positions, etc.. .
by the very nature of rejecting marriage, there's very rarely an occasion to voice our disinterest in romance.
we just kind of sit their silently while everyone else talks about their sexual and romantic preferences.. i'm sure i'm not the only one here, so how about it?

FlyingHighNow: It's a proven fact that regular intercourse will slow the aging of the love dragon and lair.
Never heard it put quite that way before.....I like it.

To Cross Or Not to Cross you be the judge!
by Hope4Others inas a solar-phallic symbol, i have no problems with it at all.
it symbolizes generation and regeneration... birth, life, death, rebirth... .
i have observed that many people wear crosses that have no religious identity.

Go with the PS3. I have a 60 GB and a PSP. Together, they can do some amazing things. Plus, it operates on BLU-RAY, which just won the HD format war. I'm 37 and
still amazed at what man has devised.

Maybe I'm crazy or a glutton for punishment, but oddly enough, I STILL have faith that marriage ( or at least a life-long commitment) can still work, IF both want it.
Talking with the older crowd, I have been told that the love ebbs and flows, but it's the COMMITMENT to each other that fills in when the love is wearing thin.
Others said that divorce was just not in the conversation, that to mention it was to show that you were open to the idea.
Of course, this was within the realm of general problems and not the biggies ( drugs, adultery, physical abuse and the like). Just my two cents....

For those who were on restrictions: Did it bother you not to comment?
by truthseeker ini'm curious to know if not beng able to comment at meetings was something you felt badly about if you were on restrictions.. i don't comment anyway, but i hardly think not being able to comment is a "restriction" in itself.. .

sweetface2233: "It only bothered me at the book study. I felt like all eyes were on me because there were 8-10 people there (at the most) and everyone (including the 5 year olds) but me were commenting."
Same thing here. I always believed that this was a way of further punishing you, that is, if you were "privately" reproved. First, they march you
into to back, knowing that others see you. THEN, they impose this "punishment", full well knowing that most will notice that your mouth has suddenly gone dry,
especially at the book study. So much for everything being "private".

Slow, very slow.
by Blueblades inslow, very slow, any day now.
my computer works very well on all other sites.
when i come to this jwd forum, it takes a long time, very slow for the pages to come up.. is this happening to anyone else?

I have a high-speed connection so I know that THAT is not the problem, although it goes out from time to time...but that's another story.
As far as you're computer is concerned, you might Ctrl, Alt, Del (If using a PC), and close any "silently" running apps. Another thing I ALWAYS do is close
down ALL icons I have showing in the lower right corner on my screen. As I have quite a few on my computer, after firing it up from a cold start, I HAVE to
do this...or my computer bogs down big time. That said, I myself have witnessed problems with this site when others were working fine. I suspect its a server issue.
Sometime when it hangs, just closing that particular window and opening another helps.
Now, assuming I just told you something you already know?.......sorry, that's all I know....

Nintendo Wii
by sandy indoes anybody know how to order the old game super mario brothers for wii?
i heard you can order online and download it but i can't find the actual page to order it.
maybe i need to register my wii first w/ nintendo.com?

I don't have one but my nephew does. He says he downloaded it at the online Wii store THROUGH the Wii itself.
Other than that, I'm afraid I'm not that much help.
