That may be your opinion, but then it would appear that others are of a different opinion to you.
As it is children grow up better in a family environment, in otherwords with their parents. When children are in care they generally don't receive the care and attention they deserve. In turn this does not solve the problem. At least if they are being encouraged by their parents to seek work and earn money they are likely to make something of themselves.

I didn't like half the artists who were playing live Earth. And a lot of them were being rather hypocritical playing Live Earth as they do not follow the message.
I've always been a supporter of stopping climate change, But I realise that even if I do my bit for the rest of my life its not going to do much good, But I guess I can be happy in knowing I have done my bit.
There are still people who say climate change isn't happening, that its all a big farce. Well I'm sure summer isn't meant to be one being torential downpore, and winters used to be colder, oh I sound such an old lady, only 22 and saying the weather isn't like it used to be. tut! -

Young Couple
by watson inyoung couple on their way to get married, a young catholic couple was involved in a fatal car accident.
the couple found themselves sitting outside the pearly gates waiting for st. peter to process them into heaven.
while waiting, they began to wonder: could we possibly get married in heaven?

People can be a little irresponsible at times, but I don't think that they should suffer for that.
I have to agree with you Gill, at least in the UK children are given a chance if their parents cannot earn enough to keep them fed.
Its a pity so much money is wasted on war and killing, more should be put into life and the bringing of life.

There is just oo much violance within the world now. I for one am horrified that a 17 year old can get hold of a gun, let alone use it. It makes me feel sad really, because if someone has been brought up in a violent society they are more likely to have violent leanings. I feel sad that someone so young could do such a thing.
I know that its too much to hope for, but I do hope that one day people will stop being as violent. -

But I love the name Rock, it makes it sounds so much more substantial than Brick.
Hey I just thought of a great thing to do with pet bricks, if you get bored of them, you can just throw them away, and they don't mind :D!

And I am back, yes its now morning here in not so sunny England. Some of us have this thing they need to do during the night, called sleeping ;)!
Now let me see.

Well I have to say you don't appear to be very liberal Left wing to me, but then I think that if in America myself I would be lynched due to my Anarchist leanings.
Well I guess we could say well done to you for still managing to work despite disabilities. But what a lot of people seem to be forgetting is how hard it is to actually get a job which pays a decent wage. And once you have the job you have to keep it, if the employeer decides to lay you off because he sees he can get someone else to do you job for less money then he will do, and there you are right back at the start unemployed and hey its not fun.
But hey well done, lucky you having a job.
Oh in reference to paying tax, if you are working, you don't automatically pay 40% tax, its only people who are in a high wage bracket who will be paying that. :P, so really thinking about it whoever pays 40% tax well they must be earning more money than the average family dreams of earning.
If only it was just the deserving people who got benefits, but that is not the case, so it leaves those who truly deserve the money the government pays them to live with the bad name their not so deserving counterparts have given them through their not wanting to get up and work.
And again, I leave you with, you have your opinion, which I know you value, but me I have mine, to me it is worth so much more, I say what I say and you say what you say, it doesn't mean that what you say means anything to me ;)!

Well things work differently over here in the UK. I have to ask, if someone loses a job through no fault of their own and they have children already then would you say they should have to 'pay' for their not having a job? Because I do not think that a persons life should be put on hold because they are unable to get themself a job due to employers turning them down, or where they are fired from a job due the the employer deciding they can employ a different person for a lower wage, ie a less qualified person. The problem is that a person disability can show up at some points and not at others, problems come and go as I well know. Yes I have a disability, as do several other people I know. Its not always playing up when people are looking, yet when your alone it feels like your in hell because of the pain. People should be allowed to have as many children as they wish to without others being critical of how they choose to live their lives, why should they be judged because they are unable to provide a decent home and living for their children if they work. It should be said that the problem is with the employer, they are not paying the people are the 'bottom of the pile' enough, they are too willing to cut wages and sack people just because it saves them money. So really the question is why has it come to people who choose to have a larger than normal family resorting to being on benefits instead of in work to keep their family afloat moneywise. Yes I would say that the problem is that too many people are not being paid a decent wage, and the people at the top are being paid too much. This results in people feeling it is not worth their while to work. Maybe you should be making a fuss about that instead, because if there wasn't that problem then people may feel more motivated to work. And again on the topic of having children, they say it costs £100,000 to keep a child over a their childhood, if that is true then most people should never have children. But as I know it costs a lot less than that. I personally don't see why there is so much a fuss being made with regard to this family, considering the amount of government officials there who happen to be earning over £70,000 a year, and basically they aren't worth that in my opinion. Remember what I say, I'm not to fussed what you say in response, its only your opinion, and mine to me is worth twice as much, this is something you learn when you take a degree in psychology :P! I've noticed how with the 'discussion' there isn't really a lot of discussing actually happening, it seems to be more a case of shouting down anyones opinion which happens to be in even slight support of this family. Now that is not what I've come to know as a discussion, discussion are usually those things in which one person opinion is taken on board and discussed even if your view is not that of the person who has spoke, discussions don't usuaully consist of ripping the opposition to pieces unless the discussion consists entirely of politicians.
Now I would like to say I believe (and this is my belief, I know it may not be anyone elses, and so I don't expect any support on the matter one what I believe) that this family is entitled to the money they are recieving, although that does not mean that I believe they 'deserve' it, but it would appear that it is more cost effective for them to live on benefit and support their family doing so than it is for them to not be on benefit. I don't think that anyone has a right to say how many children a couple should or shouldn't have, a lot of the time the people who are saying how many children a couple should have are the ones who are unable to have any, or feel threatened by the fact that someone has had more than them.
Now I know it supposidely cost a lot to look after ones children, I for one wouldn't know considering I have none, but I know that somehow my parents managed to look after me even though they had very little money. I don't think that it is right to judge a family on whether or not the parents are in work, or how much the parents are earning, there are too many people out there who think they are so great just because they happen to have a job, and just because it pays well, even though they may pay their taxs, and they may do whatever it is they do, they only reason they are actually working is so they can live, so they can feed themselves and so their family (if they have a family) can also live. I don't know why people have to be all high and mighty about actually having a job, it doesn't make you a nicer person, it doesn't mean your children are anymore likely to work than the family whose parents don't go out to work.
And also there seems to be a lot of judgement with regards to people who are 'claiming' to be disabled and therefore getting money for that. Just because you have experienced one person claiming to be disabled who can 'function' perfectly well with regards to their living and such like, doesn't mean that everyone who is disabled is like that, and disabled refers not only to physical disabilities but also to mental disabilities if you didn't know.
You may think what I've put is rubbish, but then that is only your opinion, I have to say I know a lot of people who would agree with me on what I have to say. -
