i have never once understood or try to understand bible chronology it seems a mystery only false prophets such as the WTS try to shed light on. Look where that has got them, confused, back tracking, and proving they are the false prophets spoken of in the bible.

30 are we to assume from this study that the battle of armageddon will be all over by the autumn of 1975, and the long-looked-for thousand-year reign of christ will begin by then?
possibly, but we wait to see how closely the seventh thousand-year period of man's existence coincides with the sabbathlike thousand-year reign of christ.

i recommend it.. it set me to thinking about yet another interesting phenomena in jwdom.

Care for the Anointed

it brought a smile to my face because not so long ago my wife was still working in a nursing home for jehovahs witnesses run by witnesses.
she had been there for over five years and in that time-helped care for five of the anointed class.

Yes they do exist in the UK, and were set up as non-profit company with no attachment to the society. Since then they have become more linked with the society in the UK and now hold a charity status in this country. You would be very surprised with the amount of money that is left to the society by the old brothers and sisters living in these homes.

It brought a smile to my face because not so long ago my wife was still working in a nursing home for Jehovah’s Witnesses run by Witnesses. She had been there for over five years and in that time-helped care for five of the anointed class. She left the nursing home months ago and one of the reasons was the level of care that the residents including the anointed were receiving, she is now working in a state run home and has seen better care given at these so called worldly homes. JW's will knock anybody for taking there Christian responsibility lightly yet within these homes the anointed class (lets not forget will be judging over us as princes with Christ) were verbally abused, and given minimal care due to lack of staff. This is how the heirs with Christ were treated in the last years of their lives.

The beginning of the rumour came from an annoucement at kingdom halls in the United Kingdom that they were stopping re-development of the bethel facility in London, reason's for this was that 'THIS WORLD IS CHANGING'

kingdom halls already being built are having the work on them stopped.. has anybody else heard this?
if it is true, what could be the reason.

as indicated by an article on page 56 of u.s. news & world report of january 14, 1980, if you assume that 10 is the age at which an event creates a lasting impression on a persons memory, then there are today more than 13 million americans who have a recollection of world war i. and if the wicked system of this world survived until the turn of the century, which is highly improbable in view of world trends and the fulfillment of bible prophecy, there would still be survivors of the world war i generation.
however, the fact that their number is dwindling is one more indication that the conclusion of the system of things is moving fast toward its end.. the above is taken from a 1980 watchtower which said it would be highly improbable that we would see the turn of the century.. is it just me or are we all still here in 2002!!!!
