  )so why then would any jw abide by harmful doctrines setup by the governing body (blood, shunning, the two-witness rule, etc)?

  Just Offended A JW Cart Witness Without Even Trying

  on my way into town from my office.

  two carts set up a few feet from each other.

  one manned by a man and woman (i assume they're a couple) in their late 30s.. the guys walks off to the other cart as im walking by, i wasn't going to approach but the woman holding the awake!

  "Only Witnesses demonstrate Christian Love"

  so a couple of nights ago i was speaking with a relative and we began talking about the organization.

  i had to asked her "why do you believe that this religion is the correct one?

  " they stood quiet for a second but then said that they view and feel genuine christian love, a type of love that is spoken about in the bible.

  Yes, the touchy feely warm sensations go a long way don't they....

  If you try talking doctrine with a Mormon for example, when the going gets tough, they always come back to feelings. It doesn't matter what you say,
  

  they know Mormonism is true because they feel a burning in the bosom .

  we've been watching a show called people of earth it's hilarious has anyone else seen it?

  it's a comedy about people who have been abducted and meet at a church to talk about it and the portrayals of the greys,the reptilians and the nordics and their issues is classic.

  it's on tbs.

  every picture i have seen at him at beth shirim and other private places are with a bottle of alcohol.. while for me personally i couldn't care less anymore.... for jw's this is low moral character.

  so i'm an going to guess he was a functioning alcoholic... how did that work with his closest workers?

  was he gay too?

  DId you ever fall asleep at the meetings, Assemblys??

  if i'm tierd i fall asleep anywere so the meetings ect were no diffrent my wife would always try to wake me but im a deep sleeper.

  A few years later the speaker was D/f for interfering with young boys.....maybe just as well I fell asleep

  On the contrary ,....that could have been really dangerous......
