i was just thinking the other day how small our family is now that we aren't jw's.
we are thankful that we at least have our children!
my husband lost his mom and dad and only sister and her husband and all their children.
I'm not DA, just quit going about 35 years ago. I haven't said any bad things about the JWs to them except in an email to two of my first cousins. I lost them two ways, they wouldn't answer my emails anymore and they both died about a year or two after the emails.
All the other folks I new in the KH still talk to me when I meet them out in the stores etc.

all i seem to hear lately is another death.
my daughters husbands grand dad died today.
he was 99 years old.
Yes I know death is comming, I'm 76 now and just had a bad time a few weeks ago in the hospital. I'm doing OK now, at least I think I am. My brother is doing some better now with parkinson disease.
I guess the way to handle things is try to enjoy what time we can. I'm in a bad financial position right now and don'st see any way out but I just have to work it out someway.

27 yr old female patient with ruptured ectopic pregnancy, sees the light and says yes to plasma and platelets.... she is then sedated.
her husband then declares she cant have the plasma and platelets and doctors are forced to go to court.
the risk of her death or permenant damage increasing by the hour.. the doctors decreed she had full capacity and right to autonomy when she relinquished her previos stand on blood.
Maybe he didn't want to pay for the platelets, they are $1,000 for each pack.
what do you do for fun?
i like r/c planes.
i have friends who collect everything from hot wheels to comics to coins.
I flew R/C planes for years. I flew in patern contest and have a bunch of old trophies I won back then. This goes back to the early 70's. I have just left the flying club here since my brother has Parkinson's disease and we flew his battery powered planes together and he can't do it anymore. I have a bunch of stuff I would give you if you are near Eden NC. I don't know if the stuff still works or not. I have an old transmiter that Dave Brown used to sell that you built youself. I have so many memories of my flying days, friends I taught to fly who are dead now.

i went to see my good friend in a nursing home[he had been there about 3 weeks] and when i walked into his room his eyes were open and he had his glasses on.
he didn't answer so i shook his leg.
he didn't respond.
I went to see my good friend in a nursing home[he had been there about 3 weeks] and when I walked into his room his eyes were open and he had his glasses on. I said hi. He didn't answer so I shook his leg. He didn't respond. I looked to see if he was breathing and he was dead. I went to the nurse and told her and left. I really miss him. We used to take rides out in the country and the last time I saw my first cousin, Judy, he was with me. She died a few days ago too. So many of my relatives and friends are dying. I'm having a hard time coping with all this stuff going on.
I'm still trying to recover from my hospital stay, taking medicine and having lab work done and going to doctors. Maybe I'll be back to normal soon.
