  I am kind of sad right now!

  this is my dog meenu(pronounced me-new).

  a couple of days ago i noticed her eyes were starting to swell so i took her to the vet yesterday.

  they told me that she has glaucoma in both eyes.

  I'm so sorry to hear about your little poodle. When I saw their pictures on the cats/dogs thread, I just fell in love with the little apricot girl. I wanted to tell you how nice they all looked. And who ever groomed them did a beautiful job.

  My sheltie started to go blind when she was about 10. The vet described it as a black pigment growing over the eyes that obstructs vision. Her eyes were almost black to begin with, so she always looked okay. He was amazed that she could still jump up on furniture as a 12 year old. In our house, if I put a pile of magazines on the floor, it's liable to stay there for 5 years or so!! So not rearranging furniture too much is important.

  Good luck with her, I know you'll give her all the attention and love she needs.

  i'm new here and this is the first post i make (i promise that more will come).

  i have been following most of the posts made here quietly for about 4 months and i would like to thank all of you who are called apostates for the well documented and researched material you have presented here.thanks to you i know now the truth about the wt organization and i'm no longer blind and misled.

  i disassociated myself about 2 months ago after 15 years of very "faithful" service to the society.i was regular pioneer for 12 years and an elder for 8 years, i served mainly as the service overeer.my experience was published in the 2 of the society's magazins.. as i was a very zealous and prominent elder in my circuit i zealously promoted the organizational rules and i allowed myself to be fully used by the society to promote those mind controle techniques that now i know hurt those who were my sheep.

  Ok, ok I love my cat, too. Especially since she is suffering from kidney failure and probably doesn't have long. Anyway, the vet didn't hold out much hope. So I clean up cat puke everyday, all over, and try to stuff cimedine(sp) down her throat.

  Am I damaging the silentlambs cause?

  one of the few unfounded (i think) accusations that have been thrown at me by certain people is that i have caused 'untold damage' to the silentambs cause.. i don't know quite what this is supposed to mean or what i'm suppoed to have done or whether it is anything more than just 'mud' flung by people who find it easier to criticise rather than actually do anything.. over the last year (is it?

  ) i've been happy to promote the silentlambs cause and have hosted links to bills site and vidoes / sound files of tv programmes, radio reports, photo's of the march etc... as well as providing a place for people to meet and arrange things.

  i hope it has been useful and helpful to at least some people.. if i have inadventantly held things up in some way then i unreservedly and wholeheartedly apologise.. all i can say is, i do my best and may not always get things right.

  We all appreciate (well most of us) all the hard work you do to keep this site up and running. Your site is where I first heard about silent lambs and Bill Bowen. You've done nothing to harm or hinder anyone, but have exposed not only the abuse issue but other Watchtower ills as well.

  Definately dogs!!!!

  They're loyal, loving and non-judgemental, and if you can't get that from the humans in your life, a dog is the next best choice. We have one cat, and she is very pretty, but basically selfish.

  former jw..new on the board and glad to see it so active.

  the latest round of "new light" in the recent km has reversed the rules and once again my family has been told to shun me.

  i da'd in my early 20's after being very active since childhood and have been out of the "borg" now for nearly 18 years.. i look forward to reading and posting as i get more familiar with the names here.. rgw.

  ok those of you that know me personally know that i sit on a ton of event committees, usually for non-profits benefitting kids.

  yes, it is very rewarding but there is no paycheck.

  this has not been an issue for us.
