From one Kat to another....
What a pretty dog! How much training is involved in getting a dog certified for therapy work? I'm familiar with the CGC, but is more required?

this past monday, april 19, we had dexter put to sleep.
he was almost 13 years old and we got him when he was 11 weeks old, a tiny bouncy puppy with ears that he tripped over for months.
he was ever cheerful, a part of the family, loved the children and let them pull on his tail and ears and pull up on his back with no grumbles, and a very dear friend.
I am so sorry for your loss, I know how difficult it is to lose a family member, no matter what species they are.

g,day all from sydney.
i've been dropping in to the board since being d'fd a month ago and have been very encouraged by the posts and they way everyone has been able to move on since leaving the collective.. being a 5th generation, it was always very hard for me to imagine life life outside the truman show bubble.
having a huge extended family who are all believers means that i now have virtually nil social contacts.. soon to be divorced, the only contact i have with my past life is weekend visits from my 7 year old boy and 9 year old girl.
What a fantastic song!! Is there music to go with it? You have so eloquently written my feelings and I would imagine the feelings of many others. May you find many good friends out there "in the world." They are there, just waiting for you.

if you had the opportunity to help a person understand the jehovah's witness religion, what would you make sure they understood about the "truth"?
That you can be disfellowshiped for asking questions.

anyone else as addicted to this tv show as i am???
it is a "must see" for me and tonight's episode looks really good!
I'm hooked as well!! This is my favorite show, although not quite sure why. I've never seen, even in a movie, what Capt. Aceveda was forced to do. It was horrifying, yet I couldn't stop looking. I loved last week's episode, where the decoy team had to run naked through the "barn."

yesterday i joined the "surgery club"...can't say i wish to keep being a member.
it was a same day surgery, but should have stayed at lest overnight.
didn't sleep much last night, as the pain meds made me itch terribly.
((CodeBlue)))
Hope you feel better soon.

it is well known among those here, that there were no blood cards issued this year.
for the first time in years, it is now no longer necessary to wait an extra half hour after the meeting to get an elder and a friend to sign it.. at the book study this week, the book study overseer said that we will have to renew our dpi forms (i think that's the right abbreviation) and that we would prayfully consider our options on use of non blood treatments.. is this the way things are going?
if there are no bloodcards for a 2nd year in a row, what will this mean?
Could someone please point me in the right direction--Were blood cards not issued again this year (2004)? This is news to me. I did a search and came up with nothing. Thanks!

hello, dear people!
my cousin from texas, she of the abusive husband, cancer, and impending loss of home due to foreclosure, whom many of you helped greatly with gifts, good wishes, and personal attention (.
she requests prayer in agreement beginning at 10 am cst, that not only will she get the spousal support she is seeking but also that her divorce become finalized today, that god looks over the judge's shoulder and makes sure he is aware of all the suffering, abuse and malicious treatment she has endured for the past two years, as well as the financial facts of the case.

I will pray for Colleen at 10:00. I'm a little rusty, but I still believe. She's so fortunate to have a loving cousin like you.
