Genetic evidence for "macroevolution"?

biologists at the university of california, san diego have uncovered the first genetic evidence that explains how large-scale alterations to body plans were accomplished during the early evolution of animals.. in an advance online publication february 6 by nature of a paper scheduled to appear in nature, the scientists show how mutations in regulatory genes that guide the embryonic development of crustaceans and fruit flies allowed aquatic crustacean-like arthropods, with limbs on every segment of their bodies, to evolve 400 million years ago into a radically different body plan: the terrestrial six-legged insects.. the achievement is a landmark in evolutionary biology, not only because it shows how new animal body plans could arise from a simple genetic mutation, but because it effectively answers a major criticism creationists had long leveled against evolutionthe absence of a genetic mechanism that could permit animals to introduce radical new body designs.

Accept reality, accept evolution; it’s real, it can be demonstrated, and it’s observable by the naked human eye. And most of all, ITS NOT A THREAT TO GOD! Give him credit for inventing it if you wish, but don’t close your eyes to the overwhelming evidence of its existence because it takes you from your comfort zone.Don’t be like the idiots at the scopes monkey trial that found the poor man guilty; not because of what he presented was false, but because of what he presented was SEEN AS A THREAT to the communities belief system.
Who said the opening chapters of Genesis are meant to be taken literally? Is there a footnote that I missed that said the following chapters are not allegorical? Who says Adam & Eve were literal? I’ll tell you who, Bible thumpers, the Watch Tower etc. So who died and made them the experts? Get my point? You can have a God based belief system AND acknowledge the realities that science presents too, they are not mutually exclusive. Ok, now getting back down off my soapbox.
PS: You guys could be a bit nicer to ThiChi, as it is a very hard thing to adjust ones thinking. REMEMBER?

Good for you Brit Boy. People that treat other people like shit need to hear it now and then. Hypocrisy shows up in many places, some times on the faces of those we love. To bad the Borg mind control hides this from the masses, as it is very hard for them to see their own double standards.
Responses to sexual orientation that differs from our own can manifest itself as a lighthearted joke, a bit of introspection of ones own sexuality, or as a very cruel act towards another human. I’m sorry the Borg promotes the latter and you were the victim of their intolerance. Best wishes to you.

I guess I’m a bit too dense to get it. As far as I know the larynx is an organ in the neck that plays a crucial role in speech. It is located at the point which the aerodigestive tract splits into two separate pathways and is made up of the thyroid cartilage. That’s the thing you feel in the neck also known as "Adam's Apple” or the “Voice Box”.
So is there also maybe a Sci-Fi monster called larynx? Sorry I just don’t get the joke if that was a joke. Oh God, so maybe I'm turning back into a JW again...no!...no!...God NO!

the society have now instituted carnivore - their data tracking system installed into the uk bethel to track all apostate email and activity.
the reason is the amount of "leaks" of confidential mail and facts.. they have tried and failed with legal blocking, so now they are plugging the leaks, these guys were brought into mill hill late last year after the leak of the june 1 letter.. their method is to use message boards and chat rooms for the "disaffected" and get them to go to other "society monitored" web sites.

I don’t know if it’s hype, as I seem to recall embryo research also pointed to macroevolution of our own and other species, but the argument always was that it was interpretive rather then definitive.
If you look at the development of a human embryo, it APPEARS to go through various stages of change resembling reptiles and mammalians of various types (some with tails) etc. What the press release indicates TO ME is that there is yet ANOTHER and definitive line of evidence pointing to the same conclusion.
I don’t know what your or anyone else’s religious leanings are, but it can’t be stated enough, EVELOUTION IS A FACT, deal with it! It has and is in fact at work today. How do you think antibiotic resistance germs arise? Where do you think insecticide resistant bugs and rats come from? THIS IS EVELOUTION working before your very eyes. Now does this fact invalidate God somehow? NO! Science is not the enemy of God; it only helps to explain the miracles of life.

a contact and friend of mine that works for one of those nice 3 letter organizations said the guys were high-five-ing all over the place last night.
he said it was in fact his agency that pulled the trigger via remote control and "placed a hell-fire in the middle of the bastards".

There is a story on the news wire services to the effect that the American forces have killed some top leadership personnel in Bin Laden’s terror network.
A contact and friend of mine that works for one of those nice 3 letter organizations said “the guys were high-five-ing all over the place last night”. He said it was in fact his agency that pulled the trigger via remote control and "placed a hell-fire in the middle of the bastards". He also said “some of the bastards killed tripped the facial recognition software” they have running.
Now if I couple that bit of info with what I heard on the news that the guy in the middle, was wearing white robes and was a very tall person, and also the group was driving late-model cars, wow! It sounds like we could have hit the jackpot, I hope I hope I hope! I have no further info, but I have my fingers crossed.

The difference between mainline clergymen and JW Elders is that clergymen are trained on how to counsel, and JW Elders are largely untrained and often inapt. Don't you find it funny that the Watch Tower’s god chooses to use untrained janitors and the devil’s clergy uses trained counselors. Oh these "gifts in men"!
