Here is my letter to Bill O’Reilly of Fox News. I used my real name, address, and phone number so if it gets read on the air, everyone will know who Freeman is and I will likely be disfellowshiped for apostasy. And IMHO, it would be well worth it if it saves just one poor kid. Here is the letter:
My Name
My Address
My Phone #Dear Mr. O’Reilly,
You often stand up for what is right or come to the defense of those standing up for what is right regardless of how unpopular this may make you with the so-called “mainstream press”, the “academia intellectuals”, or the “beltway insiders”. Bravo, your vast audience respects you for being a stand-up guy.
I am writing you today because innocent children and those trying to protect them from sexual deviants need your help. Unfortunately the Catholic Church is not the only denomination plagued with the problem of pedophiles within their midst. The Watchtower Bible and Track Society, also known as Jehovah’s Witnesses, suffers from this plague as well.
I am saddened to say that due largely to Watchtower official’s actions to date, or more correctly, non-actions and cover-ups, some of these door-to-door evangelists remain unpunished pedophiles atlarge. This should be very troubling to most people; it certainly is to me. Equally troubling is the fact that Watchtower officials are right now, this very minute trying to silence by way of excommunicating (disfellowshiping as it is called within this faith) some members of this denomination whose “ecclesiastical crimes” amount to protecting children by not keeping quite about child sexual abuse or the mishandling of the abusers by these church officials.
You are not alone in your opinion that the Catholic Church has not handled the matter of pedophiles very well. However, as far as I know, the much larger and more powerful Catholic Church has never stooped to excommunicating the whistle blowers trying to reform the church in a positive way, those trying to protect these innocent children. But that Mr. O’Reilly is exactly what is happening.
Please expose this horrible wrong on “The Factor” before more damage is done to both innocent children and their would-be protectors alike. For detailed info on this ongoing tragedy, please visit the Internet site www.silemtlambs.org and read what you find there. You will be shocked, deeply saddened, and angered at the abuse going on behind the Walls of the Watchtower. Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
My Name
PS: I have also attached some news postings from another media outlet for your perusal so you can better understand the problem.

Stupid or Smart move by Watchtower?
by Beans indo you think it was stupid or smart for the watchtower to call brother bowen and the others in before this scandal goes very public.
this theocratic warfare i believe was a stupid move if you look at the situation from a jw perspective.. beans.

My vote is that it was a very stupid move for several reasons.
1. By summoning Bill Bowen and company before these tribunals the Watchtower has shown to the public some of its more darker and sinister side, something unknown to the general public at large.
Protecting pedophiles and persecuting those trying to protect children will be seen as a much worse offence then the mildly irritating proselytizing or wacky beliefs they are commonly known for.
2. They have magnified the publicity this case will receive both now and when Dateline airs.
3. They have absolutely guaranteed that this program will air, something that was at one time in question.
4. By prosecuting or more correctly persecuting these child-abuse whistle-blowers, the Watchtower has now in effect raised these whistle-blowers to hero status, and rightfully so.
How wonderful, how brilliant; whoever is advising them on what to do must be one of us! I love it, it just gets better and better!

How can they say that?
by Mulan inregarding this quote from the article bill bowen posted this morning:.
while the four believe the show's impending broadcast has spurred the church's actions, church spokesman j.r. brown said that before tuesday, church headquarters had no idea that these people would be on the show.
i have to ask how j.r. brown, in good conscience, can say that?

With regard to the entire pedophile issue and the heavy-handed persecution of Bill Bowen and company, I wish to state that I am ashamed to have ever been associated with the organization known as the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. I publicly apologize to anyone I may have steered toward their clutches, God forgive me.

Possesed Smurf doll walks out of Kingdom Hall!!
by JamesG inhey,.
new to this site, yippee!!!!.
has anyone heard the story about the possesed smurf doll that got up and walked out of the kingdom hall?.
-
freeman
That story has been around for years. It changes a bit now and then, different state, different King-dumb-halls etc. Another popular one has the witnesses out in field service that come upon a creepy looking house. They knock on the door, and a strange voice says “come on in”. The brave witnesses go in and there is either a lady or man floating above their bed. The older Witness says the name Jehovah out loud and the woman, or man falls to the bed. Deamons run from the name Jehovah you know. In some stories the younger witness or sometimes its an un-baptized bible study runs off never to return; Oh-dear.
Over the last twenty or so years I have heard about 3 versions of the Demon-Smurf-Doll walking out of the hall and about 4 versions of the floating woman / man. Yep Watchtower urban legends are lots of fun, as long as you remember they are also lots of bull too.

Yep, all governments will be gone, overthrown and dissolved. This prophecy brought to you by the same people that said rockets would never break free from the earths pull of gravity and there are no such things as germs. You just got to love these guys in the writing/false prophecy department.

Will WTBTS cut back donations?
by VioletAnai inif there are people leaving in the multitudes...do the wtbts still need so many funds..... i mean printing would go down...kingdom hall costs etc....do they need as much money?
.
so do you think they will eva make an announcement asking that donations be kept to a minimum....seeing as they have said in the past that jehovah provides them with enough to keep the ministry going and nothing more so it cannot be used and abused in other ways...... or.....
-
freeman
(Mode=sarcastic)
I certainly hope the donations are not headed down, as this could be a bad trend with very serious consequences. If donations go down, then there will inevitably be cutbacks in all the services the Watchtower provides to local communities.
Just think of all of the things the Watchtower does for us.
The JW hospitals, soup kitchens, drug rehabilitation centers would suffer horribly. Not to mention the outreach program for the poor, the orphans and the widows.
No we must make sure this doesn’t happen. Do whatever is within your means to help this wonderful organization; after all you can’t expect evil Christendom to do it all can you?

My advice to you is run Little Lamb run, while you still can!
Study the Bible, no problem; get to know God, no problem, have anything to do with Jehovah’s Witnesses, BIG PROBLEM. IT'S A CULT!! Understand? IT'S A CULT! I wish I had a second chance. I wish I were in your shoes, boy I’d be running!
