If there are people leaving in the multitudes...do the WTBTS still need so many funds....
I mean printing would go down...kingdom hall costs etc....do they need as much money?
So do you think they will eva make an announcement asking that donations be kept to a minimum....seeing as they have said in the past that Jehovah provides them with enough to keep the ministry going and nothing more so it cannot be used and abused in other ways.....

That's what I mean Syn....isn't the donations for carrying on the worldwide education work and nothing more? So it would stand to reason that if God has said it is for advancing the kingdom message and nothing else (as the WT says) he would stipulate that when funds are no longer required that they be cut back so that his gb don't become 'lovers of money' - they control it all right?
Hasn't there bin a huge exodus lately? So do they need so much material wealth?

When has the borg ever encouraged the r\f to cut back on anything WT related. It has alway as long as I can remember been study more, do more, more service, increase this that or the other. They'll certainly not ask that less donations be made, rather they'll start putting the squeeze on people even more to support that bloated bureaucracy of "spiritually mature men" in NY.

My first gut feeling was that VA was trying to disprove something in reverse. As in, "If there really WAS a mass exodus then the WTBS wouldn't need so much money. since the WTBS has not said stop sending money, they must need money and therefore there is no mass exodus. PHEW!!!"
Incidentally who here has ever said there is a mass exodus? I think most here would simply agree that more people than ever (still likely a small number) are deciding to leave the WTBS because of the internet.
