my husband had another 'phone call' last night from the congregation po... the conversation went something like this..... po " i do not want to put words into your mouth but are you saying you no longer want to be recognised as a jw?".

hubby " i am not making that statement no... cut to the chase what are you getting at".

po " i have been informed you celebrated (child) birthday".

I mentioned to a Brother about 1914
I said I would see him & others later for service
The elder said ."so you dont believe 1914 is correct"?
I said NO! he said I should NOT go out in service that afternoon
Two brothers? came to see me told me I must believe that ,
as it was JAH's dates not theirs.....They offered to study it all again
with me. I said No,they told me I would be DF,I started crying asked
what if I kill myself,one of the Brothers? shrugged his shoulders.
I was df two weeks later.so yes you can be df with out an hearing

how do i make a long story short?

i am fully aware that if anyone in my area were to read this that they will know who i am.

i was disfellowshipped on january 28th 2010 after an "interview" about an evening of bowling with friends and family back in november 2009. i was among 4 who were disfellowshipped and 6 who were publicly reproved.

the perfect church!

its sunday, oh joy we are off to church!

we leave dressed as we feel like, we grab our overdue bills!

and we are off, upon arriveing we enter the all you can eat buffet we pig out for an hour or so the waiteress comes to collect our dirty dishes, and our overdue bills in a few minutes she returns with the receipt, and a doggie bag full of cash.

My story

hi guys, i joined the forum 2 days ago & i thought i should formally introduce myself to all you fellow apostates and while at it regail you with my story which may be familiar to some/all of you.. i was born into a jw family.

my father converted from traditionalist (south africa) while my mother is a second generation jw.

surfice to say i grew up (together with my three siblings) in the same jw drill... meetings, field ministry and secular school and thats about it.
