I do not know what you think I have said. I am not commenting in a disparaging way regarding anything that other members have said. I am only adding my two cents worth. I welcome yours. I still do not see the connection that has been inferred in the first post. I am a bit of a Columbo fan who likes to stick with the facts when drawing conclusions. I knew a few former masons who did not try to hid their former involvement in masonic society. I also knew former Catholics in the JW's.

I refuse to believe that either the Masonic Order or the Catholic Church would claim the JW's as being kindred spirits.

I hope I have not pissed you off in any way. If I did , I am very sorry and it was not my intention. Friends ?

When one considers that the Masons are older than JW's, where is the surprise that members join the Org. ? The masons are international and represented throughout the Christian world by various religions (mainly protestant) but also Catholics. It is not a secret so where is the surprise ? Any news on the so called Masonic Cross in the first post on this thread ?

have any of you or people that you know such as relatives or friends, made a very significant donation to the wts?

by that i mean property, or money in excess of let's say $10 000. .

enriching an already very rich organisation has to be moronic, they are the ones that should be helping the poor among them the proverbial orphans and widows.

The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is officially registered as a 'Charitable Organisation' in many countries to avoid having to pay income or corporation tax on their profits.

When they are the beneficiary of a will they are not liable for 'gift taxes' once they are registed as a Charity with the various countries income tax or revenue collectors.

Excellent. Read his Foundation and Empire trilogy, the Bible presented in a new light and set in the future. Classic and essential reading along with George Orwell etc.

i would like to extend a big thankyou to those posting on the forum who are in fact helping to educate us all with explanations of the scriptures that we may not have previously considered.

channel c is also good for this.. a christians life should be one of continual searching, testing, confirming as this leads to a deeper and firmer faith which can challenge firmly entrenched viewpoints.when i first started to study in 1966 i almost emptied my local library and spent ages in the british museum confirming my new found beliefs, this approach may well be frowned on now.

has anyone done independant research on revelation and thrown in a few maverick comments at the group study, i found out some interesting info regarding the congregations and cities jesus addressed and included them in my answers.

i saw the parents on the heaven and earth show yesterday where they denied involvement in the girl's disappearance, then read this speculation from another forum:.

i would like to examine the logical options based on the facts as they appear to stand, without drawing any conclusions based on guesses, emotional preferences or anything other than the facts.

the child was last seen alive by various people other than the parents, i believe, about four or five hours before "the discovery".

All the tons of speculation in the media do not add up to one ounce of facts. The police in Portugal have stated that they do not consider the family as suspects. The only suspect (nominated by the media incidentally) came to the attention of the world because he was too helpful in the search for madeline and attracted the attention of a T.V. reporter. Now there is a reason to avoid volunteering for anything in the community that could result in criminal charges !

Stick with the facts and avoid idle speculation otherwise there could be a call from the Brooklyn Boyz offering you a job as a creative writer !

I found Jesus in the falls on p 93 live forever book!!

i always heard comments that there were faces and other objects in the falls on p 93. now i think i have finally confirmed this.

i scanned page 93 using only 300 dpi scanner and did some colour correction and sharpened the image a bit using photoshop .the result is surely jesus and there is also a face of a young kid below jesus.

now i think that the falls image contains a plurality of peoples faces, some people are standing and others just see the face only.. you can clearly make out a gash in jesus forehead.

Nothing new here. The New World Translation was created by self appointed experts to fulfill the needs of the the Brooklynites of the day. Another version must be due anyday now to take account of the new light that has made its way into their strong room and financial records. The white rabbit and his inaccurate time piece needs new instructions from God !

Whats Wrong With the JW doctrines

i just unfortunately came back from the jw convention and ive only heard their side of the story i know that they use mind control tactics but i need to know what is wrong with there doctrines biblically.

i took a king james bible and seemed like what the were saying about the bible was true.

im never going to try going back to that religion again but i need to know that the only thing wrong with their religion isnt the mind control tactics they use.

Imagine if John the Baptist had lost his head a JW wedding in a Kingdumb Hall in Jerusalem !

No more celebrating of weddings......no more meetings.......no more weddings........no more kids.......no more Brooklyn Boyz.

There is no Biblical reason for not celebrating ones birthday regardless of the above argument. If John the Baptist drowned after he baptised Jesus where would the Brooklyn Boyz get their newly washed brothers and sisters?

If he had got run over and killed with a chariot wheel there would be many foot sore person knocking your door after having spent the last year walking from Brooklyn.
