You are blaming Jehovah for something He did not do.

God did not forbid questioning of his chanel because there is NO SUCH THING as his chanel. You were duped.

Now, I don't know if its because some people have a genetic defect or just not-so-good brains, but anyone who lets someone else dictate to them....well if you had read the Bible for yourself instead of being lazy and expecting to be spoonfed...maybe you would have realized all this wasn't true and maybe you would not have been brainwashed.

You are still in the dark.

You were following man made rules and made up stories and now, you still can't seem to clear it from your head that God did not dictate any of that BS.

And as for Jehovah killing the unrighteous...well, I know some people who really deserve for the rocks to fall on them. I bet you know some folks that deserve it, too, if you think about it.

Btw...any way you can check the services...like e-opinion or consumer reports? Are they mostly for auto/injury cases? Stuff like dui? Do they mostly act as a referral service to listen and get you to the right KIND of atty for your problem?

How many minutes a month are you allowed for questions? Do you get same atty each time?

WHAT? M-L-M lawyers???

I'm Fading.... From This Board

as 2004 winds down and my 4th year of association at this board winds down as well, my posting stats accurately reflect a transitition that been going on for me with respect to the jw religion, a process that is quite natural and healthy.

i'm sure that many members have had a similar experience.

here's a rundown of four years here for me: .

Rocketman, I just have to ask a few questions. Please indulge me.

During your fade, did you ever have altruistic moments?

Did you ever try to help others see the inconsistencies? Did you ever sort of throw out hints about the REAL TRUTH to others who asked questions?

During the time you served as elder and saw through the sham....did you ever "sway the jury" to keep from harassing or dividing other families?

Did you ever feel a connection with others you saw fading...or a connection with others that you saw who weere questioning things and not buying the anwers given?

Do you think your fade will have had a positive affect on any of the others in your family or congregation? Or will anyone notice?

Do you feel the fade was strictly for your own sense of principles and being true to yourself or did you try to make a difference "for the cause" of seeking real truths?

Has WTS abandoned "house to house" ministry?

many years ago now i remember hearing harold king sing the song he had composed whilst incarcerated for his beliefs in china; it was called "house to house".. nowadays it doesn't seem as though it's in favor.

Do you really believe that Jesus actually went door to door.....knocking at strangers houses? Is this really part of WTS teachings?

I absolutely find it hard to believe that people would believe that is how Jesus conducted himself.

From what I have read in Bible scripture, the crowds came to him, he did not go out one to one looking for people.

When news of his mountainside talks got around, he was invited into people's home.

His disciples often went ahead of him into a new area and scouted things out.

Of course they met folks in the park, at the wells, public areas, etc. and mentioned that Jesus would be coming to town soon. They made themselves available to answer their questions. They gave announcement and advance publicity.

People would talk it about.

There would already be some excitement about it before his arrival, and disciples made arrangements when people offered to host dinner or offer their homes for bed and breakfast.

That's how celebrities were treated back then.

The disciples were his publicity and business agents.........they kept his schedule, his agenda, made notes of special interest cases in the area, and special needs folks who seemed receptive to hearing what Jesus might have to say. They kept tract of requests for visitations. I think the disciples acted as our present day media does today.

I just don't see Jesus as being pushy and arrogant enough to barge in on someone uninvited nor waste his time trying to convince people of his greatness one-on- one. Why would a son of God need to humiliate himself like that?

a lot of people are in a little fuss about the generation change, which as far as im concerned, doesn't change anything, it could be step one of a bigger adjustment down the track, but on its own, its been done.

but at the annual meeting of the wtbs, there wasn't 1 but 5 changes of thought, the light has literally exploded.

one that has caught my attention is the the change on the dragnet of matthew 13. if you have wt 92 6/15 read it!

Sharing the 'real' truth by commenting at meetings

having recently gotten my commenting 'privleges' back i try to sow seeds of truth with them.. here are two tidbits i have shared:.

1----- the bible highlights-------when the older men judged legal cases, they did it at the city gates where the proceedings could be observed.. 2-----wt study yesterday-----the world was judged wicked and noah was judged righteous---he was a 'preacher of righteousness' before he started on the ark.

there is no indication that god ever intended for anyone else other than noah and his family to get on the ark.
