A friend has talked to me about acquiring this fee for $26 ... in turn they provide any legal advice.

    Anyone have experience with them?????????

    Here is the scoop:

A Pre-Paid Legal Life Events Legal Plan SM gives you access to quality law firms for $26 a month or less.

    Have you ever...

    • Been overcharged for a repair?
    • Received a speeding ticket?
    • Been audited?
    • Purchased a home?
    • Tried to return a defective product?
    • Lost a security deposit?
    • Signed a contract?
    • Prepared a will?

Even though most people find themselves in these situations, the majority do not seek the advice or help of a qualified lawyer. Why?

    • It may cost too much.
    • They may not know where to begin.
    • The process is intimidating.

You only get as much justice as you can afford. If you don't know your rights, you simply don't have any! The top 10% of income earners can afford to have a lawyer on retainer and are accustomed to asking their lawyer for advice before making decisions. What about you?

    With Pre-Paid Legal:

    • You know who to call.
    • You're treated like the firm's most important client.
    • A one year membership costs $312 or less.
    • You are empowered by knowing your legal rights.

    Without Pre-Paid Legal:

    • You may try to handle it yourself.
    • You'll likely receive as much justice as you can afford.
    • You may pay hundreds of dollars for ONE HOUR of a lawyer's time.
    • If you don't know your rights, you don't have any!

hmmm I know someone that tried to get me to sell it....she said she made some cash and also that it had indeed come in handy.

I can't find the information she gave me...but I was surprised that it seemed fairly legit, didn't seem a scam....

Around here what they do is hire top lawyers to give so much of their time for x amount of dollars. And those are the lawyers you deal with. It doesn't mean that you will have everything paid for, from what I gather, it does allow you a few phone calls in the case you are needing some quick advice.

Just make sure you read stuff BESIDES what they give you...just like in the org.

Someone told me "goggle it beotch" ... so I did ...

reminds me of being in the Borg - the ones who have invested time and money say it's the best thing around and the ones who have had issues or done the research say, "it's a scam"

After my research ... the service can come in handy but it will depend on your "case" and "timing". I am 33. If I would have bought it at 21, I would have spent $3,700. I probably would have used the service once. In that particular case an attorney would not have charged me $3,700. Then again, it's a 'gamble' like any other type of insurance. Unlike Life/Car/Home insurance ... with prepaid ... you may be dealing with a crap attorney plus charges over charges.

My friend wants me to be an associate. He says...you can make $$$. I am sure, but only the ones in the top tier. Yes, it's an MLM but this business has been in business for 20 odd years. Also, they are dealing with some lawsuits.

Religious Scams, Insurance Scams, Government Scams ... where does it end?

    MLM?!?!?!

    To that I say...

    WTF!?!?!?

    Run, WAC, run.
