Yep my sister has gotten out and my mom is still alive. Of course my mom does not speak to my sister but she stills goes to the meetings. Funny how we make up our mind to do something and what we think will happen - doesn't. It is because there is a net for those who stay in - called fear. So, think about it. The question is "who is your God?" An organization or a God Who has given his life for you. He is not the author of fear. Just thought I would add my 2 cents. Thanks.

Undecided...not fair
by Cindi_67 inimagine a sister/brother is preaching.
the household is a family of "baptists" to give an example.
they start giving the message and one of the members of the family likes what he/she hears.

read the Bible for yourself
by a friend inseems a lot of people are depending on everyone else to solve their problem.
questions like who is jehovah, who is jesus, what is the truth, are some of the deep spiritual truths asked by all of us.
however, the bible is the one to turn to when questioning.

Yep, and there is so much the Bible can do. It even offers fellowship by saying "do not forsake the assembling of yourselves, as some do'. So I choose to worship my God with singing and studying and fellowshiping as i should. Thanks for your comment. This is a cool site

Oh, I know; I've heard that answer before. Only thing is that someone had to tell you that before, too. If someone really wanted to know who God is, than they would read from the source. Depending on what others tell you is just an answer. And thanks for responding and thanks for the welcome. This is really cool.

Sure, I was a Southern Baptist with a family that became JW when I was 19; so I was lost as a goose because I really did not know the Word; I just believed everyone as it was taught to me. I began reading my NAV Bible and I promise you that was the best thing I ever did. I couldn't convince my JJW family, but because I was taught in the Word to love my enemies, and love unconditionally, I have a little sister that is now out and we are good friends. I have a relationship with Jesus and He is the One Who rescued me. Thanks for asking
