  My brother is having doubts about the BORG... NEED HELP...

  he was abused by my dad really bad... i'm talking a broken nose, black eyes, black and blues all the time... my dad was a po for years and was one during the whole time he was abusing us.

  of course, he was the worst with my brother.

  my brother has always denied it and said it wasn't as bad as it was.

  Be there with him through the breakdown, and help him deal with the dad/abuse issue. Maybe you can tell him to deal with one thing at a time......the JW aspec pales when compared to the abuse and should perhaps be addressed later......your dad could have been of any faith and still been this same horrible father to him......so sorry for your entire family........oompa

  Some help please- advice

  i have a problem.

  i knew this would come up but what has me questioning myself is where some of my resistance is coming from.. my wife and i have a baby on the way in nov. (a little girl) anyway my mom immediately started applying pressure to me to go back to meeting and of course to attend the convention.

  that is not the surprise.

  i would like to speak with a jw or anyone here who believes in god, and i would like in fact i dare you to find a reason why humans shouldnt use cannabis.

  <--(marijuana) actually i will give you one and it is the only one that i have found.

  the only reason i found is because in most places it is illegal and god says to respect there laws but anything besides this i believe is bs so again i dare u to give me a reason besides what i stated..

  and i tried a medical type vaporizor....neat gadget with digital temp display.......it still seemed like some smoke to me...though much cooler....isn't there still some smoke?

  and i SAW a guy RECETNLY....a real moron..lol...OD on the stuff....way too many hits in too short a time.....he had a scary seizure and passed out......very scary.......none of even knew that you could OD on pot

  i discovered a site called www.jwmatch.com which have pictures of individuals claiming to be jws looking for others jws to date.

  based on the watchtower's anti internet stance and meeting people online, i doubt this website is real.

  has anyone else seen this site?

  I have it over jw issues

  and so does anyone else who has posted here over 3000 times.................oompa

  well...not just jw issues but how it has effected my life during and after....

  and maybe not 3000 times, but even 1000 times....oompa

  jw issues are all invasive, dress, job, sex, marriage

  so you may be obsessive if you think of jw things ten times a day....oompa

  jw issues are just so hard to let go for many...

  so maybe ocd is in order if it goes up to 5000 posts a day....oompa

  jw issues are just sooo fluckkin in your head all the time....

  so maybe if you even think about jw stuff three times a day you are occ?........oompa

  geeze i wish i could let this jw issue crap go!

  but maybe it is just normal to think about it 24/7...............................get the picture?.............oompa
