  Did You Exit the Witnesses Due to Injustices / Difference with Doctrine-Both?

  many of us leave due to injustices committed inside the organization.

  i did initially.

  i had doubts about some doctrines for years - but not until after leaving the witnesses was i free to be able to confirm my suspicions and see that yes, i did have valid reasons to have doubts all those years .

  I never had people probs....loved my friends and pretty much everyone else......doctrine...false teachings...bad predictions....but the icing on the cake was the very altered New World Translation!!!!

  Cmon guys....no matter how much you love the name Jehovah you CANT just add it wherever you want to....but oh thats right....they did....237 times in the Greek scriptures without a single shred of ANY manuscript support in the world!!! (btw that is right there in the insight book under the heading JEHOVAH if you know where to look) I have lots of info about this if anyone wants it since i wrote WT twice about it.....damm how they lied to me directly too..........oompa

  had second thoughts about divorcing my JW wife...

  just this week after being separated a little over two months....and funny cause i just got a pm from a newbie about what it is like to leave all...including your wife or husband....anyway, i spent the day with my wife and we talked about it...it is so sad....even though we are very different in natures...i again concluded there is enough in common to be happy and grow old and avoid the very high costs to both of a divorce....except we just cant figure out how to have totally separate friends and social lives....that is kinda big and may still be the deal breaker....soooooo frustrating and infuriating..........oompa.

  here was my reply to the newbie pm:.

  leaving was terribly hard as my wife is a wonderful and attractive person...my 22 year old son is also a good dub...and my parents are not real old yet and he is a hardcore elder.

  ATJ....thanks friend...good to hear you made it through....god divorce process is stressful as hell...esp at midlife with assets and all...fortunately we good there, so we will both be ok ...plus i feel so sorry for her and her worries about the future...

  JAFO....i hope she will be able to...cause she will for sure have grounds to move on...i am not the celibate type! She will make a GREAT catch for a good JW guy....she never had kids so her only baggage is me, and she still a the body most 18 year old girls wish they had! (dammit)

  leaving was terribly hard as my wife is a wonderful and attractive person...my 22 year old son is also a good dub...and my parents are not real old yet and he is a hardcore elder. i had already lost all my lifelong friends and finally decided i could live without my parents if i must. i have been separated a little over two months and have had some second thoughts this week...i think there is enough in common with my wife that we could make it even though we are very different and that was ok as long as the huge thing in our lives..."the truth" was in common...
  
  now that we do NOT have that in common....i just cant figure out how to go back with her when we would have totally separate social lives and friends....that is not healthy and we have been to two marriage counselors and me two therapists and they all say the marriage is not healthy like this and that it would be nearly impossible to live like that....so i am sad and pissed at WT because there should really be no reason we could not happily grow old together...

  at least that is when i figured out that i did not like not fitting in at school....so i would salute the flag sometimes...and sneak a valentine to my gf...ya i liked girls a lot then so always had my little girlfiriends....and i would try and stay in the room for the birthday cupcakes!...ya i was evil...and of course then there is the guilt from that.....oompa.

  so life comes at you pretty fast...lol............the entire scope of what we have here is pretty amazing............and you newbies?........just hang out here a bit!....geeze i never did that here with any wonder or questions in my heart...i just knew....i am wired a bit differently maybe....cause i was like ok...here it is.....i am supposed to just pour my heart out.........and did so as coaster for a hundred posts and thank you guys for not kicking me off due to my new love of cuss words....dammm i cuss soooooo much now?!?!...............

  two to girls i bank with...three ladies at a hair salon who i have known for 20 years...and my massage therapist who is a former dub and went out for sushi and i have her her present there...the pic of us is in facebook and damm the winston rolls are awesome there...wrapped in cucumber curls.....and btw...vocal oompa has kept them all in the loop of my cult exit and all...and they all get it!

  !............so there was a lot of special joy going along with my first xmas............. it was soooo much fun shopping for the gifts and wrappers and cards and all....and i was just hoping to be seen by a dub or two in the santa section!....lol......................merry christmas all!
