  hello all, yes i am still in, but man it's getting so hard to continue to give up my life , for something that's just not happening, my wife is pioneering, and i just cant contiue to do this.

  cost of living,gas, we sold our home 4 yrs agao.

  man that was a mistake.

  Jgnat, this is a good point:

  Keep in mind, though, that this one-post wonder may have moved on, made some changes, and did something with his life. Another possibility is that this was his first shot at freedom, quickly squelched. In a year or two, he may be ready to try again.

  Not everyone has the need or the desire to regularly post their progress here.

  I kinda think that any JW who has even thought of coming to this site, much less actually been here and posted even once, already has had some switch flip on in his mind that will never be turned off. I have a feeling that people who tend to be more vocal in life, tend to share their concerns more with others, and that would include places like JWD. hope homebound still lurks.....oompa

  i know it seems like a bit of an odd question, but i find myself really drawn to his music.

  i love his drunken southern drawl, the boogie piano, even the massive ego, and of course the pure unadulterated sexual energy and fire he had.

  been listening to his music alot recently, and also lots of fats domino, chuck berry and little richard.

  Bluesbreaker, love jerry lee and the movie. Chuck Berry is a God among men! When I was in high school I DANCED with Chuck at a college concert! I was on the front row and all of a sudden he says he want 6 guy and 6 girls on stage to do the bunny hop with him...swear to Chuck it's true. The only bad thing about being on the front row is that Chuck spits like a dand Camel when he sings! You would not believe the photos I got that night. The Drifters opened up.

  i was thinking about what started my big doubts with the wt doctrine.

  i remember often questioining certain things but the biggest doubt was when i started some research in the wt literature about a subject i knew a lot about.

  Cheetos says the following and I would like to know what used to be said, and what is now said at baptism.

  For me it was when they changed the wording for the baptism, making the organization right on the same level with the holly spirit and Jesus Christ, if anyone does not hear and read that, and does not smell the cat food on the wall, I don't feel sorry for them one bit.

  By the way, I have always had too many questions, but when I found out we really had our "own" Bible and found so many changes in it that nobody would explian, that did it for me.

  hey, i just became a vegetarian and i'm wondering how do you stop yourself from getting lightheaded?

  i'm always getting lightheaded after i work out and i'm fearing i might have to eat meat.

  I recommend eating only grass fed beef, you can find them on the internet. After all, if you eat them, and they only eat grass and water, that is what you are eating!

I study, read pray, and it's just not happening. do any of you feel me?

  I do. You feel nothing because being a dub doesn't work as advertised. Your mileage may vary. (This was SirNose586 reply to Homebound above). SirNose had cut and pasted Homebounds post and for some reason, (mainly since this poor guy is still in like me), I checked his profile and dang if this is not his ONLY post ever. I wonder just how many JW's, in the truth forever, family "strong", pioneering or an elder or whatever visit here are are probably in awe. Obviously they are depressesd. They see depression here too, but they see that some are doing much better in life. But where is "Homebound?" Do the curious Lurkers just read for months and months? Do they finally see a topic that makes them want to just BURST out and post, and then they feel so guilty they run away? I really sad for Hombound. feeling real similar....oompa

  Meaning of prayer

  so when i was in and had to say the prayer for a meeting or at home in front of my family it always was a chore.

  i had to try and remember what other people said or how they phrased things so i could sound soooooo spiritual.

  you are always told to say a prayer like your face to face with god and it should be so heart felt but it was still me talking to myself with my eyes closed.

  she said in some parts of the south dog fights are common so we must understand where he's comming from.. well, in some parts of the south people discriminate against african americans.

  Where the hey is she from anyway? How does she know what is common down South here? I have been here all my life and know of no arrests for dog fighting, have not seen dogs kept for dog fighting, and have traveled a ton of the rural south. I just so hope she keeps flapping her gums trying to be relevant!

  FDS GB power flow chart

  i have posted about this subject before, but still not satisfied.

  according to f. franz (in live forever book) the gb members are in fact fds members, so in essence the gb members carry a dual title.

  "yes me lord gb/fds" now lets say an annointed bethel member is not of the gb.

  The real power in the org is in the GB only. They are merely the representative Lead Group of the FDS because this is more orginized. It is not feasable for thousands of people to meet and decide things. I have wondered if letters from FDS outside the GB would be given more consideration by them. It would seem reasonable, but then again, you never really know who the hell is a FDS Annointed or not!

  i have been inactive now for over a half a year, and i am just now realizing that there was not one thing i enjoyed about being a witness.

  i enjoyed my friends and association with witnesses, and still do.

  but i didn't enjoy one thing that we were supposed to do, not one.

  Return Visitor, Gee thanks so much for breaking it down so and making me face every boring, torrid, miserable, aspect of my last 46 years! Real mind candy it is. I too did like most of the association. For years I was able to vacation, party, hit the beach (vollyball), get drunk with, and have a good ol time with some similar non-judgemental friends. UNTIL I saw the light and have been oh so "marked" by most of them, and none of then have awakened.
