i recently attended our special assembly day and the visiting speaker put down hdtv because he didn't think we needed it.
he said that we've been watching tv for many years now without it.
i don't know what bethel is going to do when the tv networks switch to that system.
I went to a circuit assembly years ago and the CO spoke against kitchen gadgets, especially the little electric coffee grinders (Braun is one brand). He said they weren't necessary, they cost money that could be put to better use, etc. A sister I knew had just given me one but I proceeded to get rid of it.
A few years ago Awake! had a whole article about..guess what??? Coffee grinders! The one in their picture looked just like the one I had been guilted into giving away!
although animated it is pretty cool.... .

i bought one of those new fangled devices, by cuisenart...pour the stuff into a prefrozen container and watch it turn into your dream homemade icecream....not!.
it comes out soft and soupy.
if you put it into the freezer it hardens into 1000 year old glacier like material.. it tastes good, but the texture is never where you want it.
I'd like to know how skim milk powder improves a recipe! Do tell!
Probably in the twinkling of an eye...but not on this board!
cbs "60 minutes" story:.
a life saver called "plumpynut".
oct. 21, 2007(cbs) you've probably never heard a good news story about malnutrition, but youre about to.
I didn't see any information on how to contribute. This looks really worthwhile!

Being a kitchen gadget junkie, this is the perfect excuse to go out and buy one. It would give me better control over the ingredients.
Ummm, it isn't the always the ingredients that need better control ....
I'm a kitchen gadget collector too. I found Amazon's Outlet and Friday Sale and OMG! :I ordered the ice cream maker, the deep fryer, the snow cone maker and the milk shake machine then found out I had diabetes. My blood sugar was over 300 for a month! I've got it under control now but the ice cream maker keeps calling to me...
*sigh*

I have that same ice cream maker and every time I use it the stuff comes out about the consistency of a milk shake. Maybe the problem is the recipes in the little book that comes with it. I haven't tried any other recipes yet.
I also found that you can't freeze that stuff and expect it to be edible afterward!
Ohhhh but it's good when it's fresh!

scenario: your jw sister and her elder husband drop by for a brief visit after service.

will drop in for a few minutes.
You say "no".
It's their problem if they didn't take care of checking their email before they left home.
Whether it's a ruse or not is secondary.
The real issue is personal discipline.
As an afterthought, most companies require some extra software installed on a home computer or laptop before an employee can remotely access their company email. Even if this guy owns the company I'd be surprised if he could access company email on just any machine.
