Well, that's not correct. In the past 21 years we've had about 3 limited conversations. Two were about family health history and this last one about a death in the family. Unless you're talking about all family members being deceased.
That is tragic, really sorry to hear that. This is why the organisation has to be destroyed or change it's ways.

Their harsh rules and the internet are having an impact on their numbers. Witnesses are just getting tired of the relentless pressure to preach and the end always being just around the corner.
But as another poster pointed out, their collapse could come suddenly if they make a really stupid policy descision or a large catholic style pedophile pay out case.
someone wrote on my fb page "god's love is unconditional-not based on emotions and feelings".
how would you respond to that statement?.

i was raised a witness up until i was 16, never was baptized, and now that i have my own child now i am having a really hard time with wanting her to know what religion is.
as i have gotten older, wiser i am doubting the truth even more...actually i never doubted it until just a few years ago.
being a witness is the only religion i know so i still have that sense of loyalty to it even though it's not what i choose to be.
You have a God given right to believe what you want to believe and not to feel guilty about it. You don't have to know all the answers either.
Just make sure your not being emotionally manipulated by anyone. If in the course of studying whatever religion and you are having feelings of guilt, fear, confusion or even feeling of overwhelming gushy love - GIVE IT WIDE BERTH, its not for you or your prescious family.
Personally I would advise staying clear of all religion but thats just my opinion.

Just remember that even though there are a lot of nice people in 'the world', not everybody is so nice. Set proper boundaries and don't accept any behaviour that crosses the line. You should be fine.
