a prominent bethel elder shared this information with another elder: there are some bethel workers who have been invited to leave bethel, but are refusing to do so and are taking the society to court while still residing in brooklyn.

if this is true, this could be the reason behind the sale of brooklyn property.

i know what you'll say now, but, back when you were 'in' mentally and/or phsically did you ever enjoy or look forward to the meeting with the co on friday nights??.

they are the worst!

Interesting. I have a friend who said the exact thing. Maybe this is a common occurence.

I hated those meetings. Once in a while there was a nice, moderate and understanding CO, but MOST of them were fanatics with a let-me-overload-you mentality and a sense of superiority.

position is true, the wt may be unwillingly creating the conditions for a great apostasy within.

since many of these men have served for years or decades, and hold on to the religion precisely due to the their position of power (power is hard to renounce), their deletion would make them reconsider their layalty to the society.

Many of them are unwilling or unable to make a living in the real world. What in the world is the Governing Body thinking these days?
