i had an idea that i could build a uk map of everyones location which would show you instantly who is in your area from jwd.. (it might be an idea to do a seperate us one aswell but i'll wait and see if this one takes off first, or if anyone from the us wants to volunteer to do that one).

In approximately 7 billion years, the sun will expand in size to become a red giant, engulfing the orbits of Mercury, Venus and possibly Earth. Even if Earth escapes being swallowed, it will become too hot to support life.

my doubts about the bible probably began maybe 6 or 7 years ago, they were very small ones however and i managed to supress them for quite a while.
however certain events in my life would make those events resurface.
Yes. I do believe in the bible, the KJV not the NWT.
So do you believe that Song of Solomon 2:12 should read:
"The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land"
as opposed to "the voice of the turtledove"?

god allowed satan to test this theory on job, so job was beset by numerous trials but he refused to give up on god or blame him in anyway.. it would appear that satan was proved wrong in this particular bible account but was he really?
would the majority of mankind follow jobs example if they were faced with similar trials?

I can't possibly argue with someone who claims to speak for God. No matter what I say, no matter what evidence I provide, you can always trump me by claiming that God told you otherwise. I'm sure you can see why continuing this discussion would be an exercise in futility for me, unless one of two things happens: (1) God starts talking to me (or I start hearing him, depending on your point of view), or (2) you provide me with incontrovertible proof that God is speaking to you. Unless and until one of those things happens, I will remain rationally skeptical. I hope you will at least consider the possibility that you are wrong - dangerously wrong - and seek the help you need.

You are in error. I don't put my faith in what is written, as many here will tell you. I put my faith in what I 'hear', spoken to me by my Lord.
For those of us who are less fortunate and don't have god whispering in our ear, how are we to determine what is right and wrong? Your god appears to allow things which are repugnant to most people (genocide, infanticide, murder, pillage, rape etc.) He may have some justification for that. None is presented in the Bible. I can't think of any that I would consider acceptable. As your god is talking to you but not to me, maybe you could ask him.
