by sleepy indid man go to the moon?.
just watched an amazing programme that claimed the moon landings were faked.i was supprised at how compeling the evidence against a moon landing was.anyone know more about the subject?.
if it is true that this didn't happen it raises a whole lot of questions about how trust worthy our governments are.

well then she says that she is considering having an abortion...which i am totally against....so we discussed it...then she started to think that she might have the child....so she talked it over with her twin sister...and she told her to get the abortion...now she says she wants the abortion...now i am upset...not onlly does she want the abortion...but she wants me to pay for the entire thing...so not only am i going to be terminating a developing life...but i have to pay for it????

No, it's the courts that are the determining factor in what makes someone a person with human rights.
So if the courts have decided abortion is OK, you agree?
I never implied we should protect all life equally. I say we should protect all human life equally.
And you define human life as anything having human DNA? Does a skin sample being kept alive in a petri dish after its host human is dead qualify? Is not, why not?

Scripture to Back Beliefs

Cornelius was a centurion in the Roman army. He was able to receive holy spirit and to be baptized by Peter. There is no indication that he ever had to leave his post. (Acts 10)
They also told us that holidays are man-made. So? Does that make it wrong to celebrate birthdays, etc. Evidently, having certain parties to celebrate what they deem okay is fine.
There are no biblical prohibitions on birthdays. The average JW will point to what they claim are the only references to birthdays in the Bible, at both of which someone was beheaded. There are scriptures to suggest that Job's children celebrated their birthdays (not sure exactly where) and Jesus' birth was celebrated with gifts.
Watchtower publications ususally talk vaguely of pagan origins and giving undue honour to a person. That would make some sense if they didn't celebrate wedding anniversaries. Ask a JW for scriptural reasons why they don't celebrate birthdays. Ask them why the same reasoning doesn't apply to wedding anniversaries. Ask them why the Watchtower Society celebrated it's 100th birthday in 1979.

I would be amazed if it were a hoax.....but stranger things have happened I guess. For there to be TV shows and stuff...there must be something to the story.
Why? If it's on TV, it must be true? Especially on a channel owned by Rupert Murdoch?

reason, hands, legs, heart or lungs, a human without any or all of these is a person and an animal with any or all of these it's not a man without the DNA of a human.
I've tried and tried but I can't quite parse this "sentence". My best guess is that you're saying that having "the DNA of a human" is the ultimate determining factor in what makes someone a person with human rights. If so, what about something with over 98% of human DNA? As all humans (apart from identical twins) have different DNA, how do you define "the DNA of a human"?

God forgave David for adultery and murder. Apparently this shows that God is all-loving and forgiving.
God killed Uzzah for touching the ark of the Covenant, even though Uzzah's motives were pure and he probably acted instinctively, showing that God is a petty hypocrite.

Why did god create germs?
by sleepy inif there is a god who crested us , then why did he create germs , viruses ans other such things that harm and kill us?why also are there no instructions about these things in the bible, and don't give me that mosaic law crap, where does it mention for example boiling water or spreading germs through human contact, the most important things you can do agianst catching nasty dieseases?edited by - sleepy on 9 august 2002 9:4:21.

Because the first man and woman had bodies totally resistant to germs which perform many good operations such as decomposing leaves; only after Satan caused human suffering and death did germs become able to harm humans.
Why did God create several hundred versions of the influenza virus? And what useful function did they serve?
