Big deal, Newgrange in Ireland was built while Adam was alive! (Around 3300BC, he would have been around 700)

Praying over food changes it's molecules??
by cameo-d inconsider also the research of dr. masaru emoto in which he conclusively proves that our thoughts and emotions do have a direct influence upon matter.
dr. emoto discovered that concentrated specific thoughts, projected at water, will result in dramatic changes in the resulting ice crystals when the water sample is frozen.
positive, loving thoughts and emotions produced brilliant, beautifully complex snowflakes, while negative thought forms projected at the same water sample resulted in incomplete, dull and asymmetrical snowflakes (see www.masaru-emoto.net for details).. .

I haven't done any real reserch on him but it seems plausible.
I think intention can be a very powerful force and some have really mastered it to a large degree and can be meassured in some cases and water crystals, maybe just one of those ways among many Iv'e heard of others. These types of measurements may only curedly show something is happening without much detale and allow us to draw some conclusions.
Especially among those able to alter thier consciousness or reach non ordinary states intentions can be more powerful.
You sound like a scam artist's dream. Ready and primed to believe absolutely anything at a moment's notice. You need to be careful though, or you could be fooled by someone with a more sinister purpose than just selling books and tat.

Former J.W. Now atheist?
by Aculama injust curious.... did the disallusionment of j.w.
experience make you hate god or disbelieve everything about god?
could it be god's grace that kept you from or freed you from their hold on you?

Aculama:
Could it be God's grace that kept you from or freed you from their hold on you?
Could be, I suppose, but if that were the case wouldn't said God have used the same grace to nudge me a little further in whatever direction he wanted me to go? I mean, if he was going to all the trouble of using his grace to get me out of the wrong religion wouldn't he go that one step further and point me towards the right religion?
Personally, I find it pointless to second guess the possible motives of hypothetical deities. Instead, I rely on the evidence to determine my beliefs. That evidence has led me to atheism.

Do we all have Nephilim Blood?
by cameo-d inso they say that in the "beginning of the ages" there was a lot of in-breeding because the bloodlines were 'more pure'.. when the nephilim came down and mated with the females, even after the flood, does this mean the bloodlines would have been 'more pure' as far as 50-50 nephilim dna?
or maybe even a stronger concentration of nephilim than human...maybe 80-20%?
psalms 58:3 the wicked are estranged from the womb.

cameo-d:
How come the descendants of the Nephilim (the Anakim) were around after the flood? How could have the descendants of Cain survived, along with similar groups of pre-flood peoples, such as the Amalekites
How indeed? It's almost as if the bible contradicts itself!

Gill:
Simple solution. Take a week off. Advise them they need to find an alternative sitter for that week. Do this any time you feel you need a break.

Here's another review of the same book. I don't think someone posting a link deserves any more comment than another posted link (or two):

Is someone covering up this baking soda theory? I Googled it but can't find evidence of a cover up.
See, that proves they're covering it up!

Suppose someone developed a drug that could relieve hardened arteries? That could potentially save lives and prevent misery in the aged?
That reminded me of a (relatively) recent breakthrough in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, a pill that needs to be taken every day by those at risk. Kaching! for the drug companies, right? Well, no because the drug in question - aspirin - is in the public domain. If the drug companies didn't - or couldn't - prevent this from happening, why - or how - would they prevent a similar breakthrough in the treatment of cancer?
On the subject of the "medicalisation" of everyday life, there's certainly some truth in that. Drug companies are attempting to find a demand to match their supply, and also trying to find medical solutions to lifestyle problems (obesity and some forms of depression, for example). It is important however to remember that just because the drug companies are less than perfect (and occasionally truly reprehensible), it doesn't mean that the weaselly snake-oil salesmen who fleece the vulnerable and gullible selling nonsense remedies like baking soda are anything other than charlatans out to make a quick buck.

Transgender
by LovesDubs ini recently found out someone i care a lot about is transgendered.
we havent been so close until recently and i actually guessed that this is what is going on with him.
he himself is just in the last couple of years coming to grips with it and finally taking measures to become the woman he has always felt he was.
-

LovesDubs:
I could use some advice.
You need to change the pronoun you're using to refer to her. She does not want to be seen as a man with a mental illness, but as a woman with a physiological disorder. Just be there for her.
And help her with applying make-up and other such womanly pursuits.

Big pharmaceutical companies stand to gain a lot of money, prestige and publicity if they find a cure for cancer, which is why they dedicate so much of their resources to doing exactly that. Grubby little scam artists like Tullio Simoncini can make themselves rich by offering false hope to the most desperate people. He was banned from practicing medicine in 2003 but apparently that hasn't stopped him. See http://www.cancertreatmentwatch.org/reports/simoncini.shtml for further information.
