Anyone wanna chance writing up a 'How to Offer' presentation?

The only purpose of this and the simplified brochure in 'Westernized' and predominately literate communities is for random laundromat or lobby placement.....or to give those pre-K - 2nd graders to use as venues for giving a 'witness' at school......but that said, my state's public school system really doesn't really allow for 'free time' other than before and after school.

Can you answer: What is "The Truth"?

i mean can someone, preferably an active jw, explain in 5 sentences or less what that really means?.

i ask because of the long post that "20571..." made on another thread about how "the truth" is better than this, that and the other thing.. what does it really mean?.

The Truth is not an abstract idea or thought nor can it be a "trademark" belonging to the Watchtower.

Yes it can when used in the context of the question within the realm of Dubbieland and the 'trademarking' is our lil joke on the forum as is referring to it as 'troof'.

While I have no doubt that the Romanian JWs who broke way with the WTS a few years ago probably affirm that use and definition of 'Troof' .... I don't know a single other denomination who uses the term in such manner.

Declaring it ain't so because this or that doesn't change the fact the WTS uses the term to convey their interpretation of enthronement.

The question was simply about what the WTS answers as 'Truth™' when using it as a 'buzz word' or 'cult speak'.

"The Truth™" is nothing more than our professed belief that Jesus was enthroned in 1914, thus the end is nigh. We believe such and under such enthronement Jesus charged only the WTS/Bible Students/JWs as being worthy and thus becoming God's sole channel on earth during these 'end times'....

However, this 'Truth™' is subject to change as it did from 1878 to 1914 or to simply be brought out less and less and just passed off as 'the kingdom of God'.....which by the way doesn't happen at this years DC.....granted the whole 1914 thing aint trotted out during the 'message' portion of the talk but rather the 'method' section.

Anonymous Brother (admired by all for his efforts!) was able to get some recordings of this weekend's DC...... while not a complete set we all will want to express our heartfelt gratitude for his generous donation of time and energy (JWNers stand and offer wild applause and whistles!)....we sincerely hope the missing talks were due to his sleeping in and lunching late!

Does Anyone know what congregation RBC is?

there seems to be some kind of a trend, i think of jw congregations separating from the authority of the watchtower if the elders vote for it.. i'm trying to get more information about what this is and whether or not the wt hq sanctions is, ever.. thanks for any info,.
