Also I would point out that the Farm's renovations sure look like a they are accomodating a small college or prep school.

Still a rumor....
However I would point out that many of the first MTS (now Bible School for Single Brothers) grads became COs and we will start to see the first grads from the Couple's Bible School soon..... both of these programs are WTS-procedure based unlike Gilead.....(actually it would be a good pre-req for Gilead entrance)
Evidently was a strong committee consideration as it was whispered here and in Europe in pretty reliable circles...
Much of the rumors were consistant with creating a JW version of the Mormon Stakes provision (whose lay members are not paid).
Just a reminder.... our new arrangement of the 'Family Worship Night' is nothing more than a renamed/branded LDS 'Family Home Evening'.
Why would the WTS give a hoot about copying or consider the Mormons?......cuz according to the 2008 Pew Report on religions in the USA we kicked their Mormon heinies in converts but they whipped us on every other count (retainage of born/raised, marriages within Mormon faith, etc)

Voluntary decisions ....... the WTS acts like a social club where any violation of club status quo or rules could lead to social marking, displinary action or club membership removal.........coercion happens we just do it in less direct ways usually starting with the suggestion to 'wait on Jah'.
It is okay for you to be a believing JW on this site, it is okay to offer different opinions but learn how to disagree gracefully, how to agree to disagree.
Please, much more and you will have those who are serving as elders writing notes to the congregation you claim to attend.....it will end poorly for you.

B) Convert it to a learning center that mimics higher eduction (--maybe start with training trade skills--) and explore the possibilities of entering the higher education market in a "'can't beat em' join em'" mentality.

Do You Think It Is Wrong To Stereotype?
by minimus ini know we are supposed to be politically correct but i don't always feel that this is warranted.. i do think that certain things might be generally true and could be viewed as stereotyping.
for example, if i see a young person driving a car very slowly, i might think that they are texting and driving (or else are asian).
now that might not have sounded proper, but i do think it's generally true, from my experience driving in the city.. if i see a "butchy" looking woman, i generally assume the woman is gay.
