Any way to contact BonaFide?

i've been reading the experiences of the poster here called bonafide, and based on his many and unique positions in the wt organization (elder, mts grad, missionary, co in a poor country) i've been wanting to ask him some things.. i quick checked his profile and he hasn't posted in 2 years.

do you know any way i might be able to contact him?

would he respond to a pm?.

Like many he had an emotional moment play out via a thread.

Last we talked he decided to take the education route to empower and better his life.

It was for his own good that he thew himself into these endeavors fully and stopped posting.

I miss him, swear one day I might go hunt him down but until then I believe he is enjoying life, taking full advantage of his freedom.

It would be safe to assume he still has some ties to the Org as he loves his family deeply.

Huggles to Bonafide wherever he sleeps tonight.....

so i was poking around jw.org a lil recently...... noticed this advertisement was still present in the 'privileged' section (ie you gotta have login access).

this was posted on jw.org a little over a year ago (as shown in pic) but since it is still viewable......figured it is fair-game for jwn fodder.

Yes Roddy, same guy.

His name is Dale Baker, his daughter is now married late GB Albert Schroeder's son.

Business is good.....they had a uber lavish wedding and then later both got Bachelors in Gen Ed from Columbia.

I allowed fear to rule me as a wife and mother.

Now as for you....

You have already betrayed your GF emotionally, she knows this and it hurts, you cant unring that bell. Your committment to her isn't /wasn't really true.

GF is a smart gal, take her up on the exit and quit holding on to someone you already let go of.....(nobody likes being used as a security blanket)

Beyond that you gotta "own" your choices.

You want to go with the ex, even if it is just to see if you are doing it for your baby not be in a 'fatherless' situation.

Maybe you and the ex will work it out, maybe not .........worse comes to worse you and ex will be more united in raising your baby together while apart.

It sucks to break another's heart when they were good to you (its called a 'rebound' usually).

Active JW understands flaws in WTS doctrine but believes in the Bible

perhaps this is a common topic for newbies on the site, but i have browsed for a while and not seen this exactly answered.. as an active jw who understands the flaws in wts doctrine, but believes in the bible, how do i identify a form of worship that meets all the criterea:.

1) by this all will know you are my disciples if you have love among yourselves (john 13:35).

sure i know that not all jws do this, and that people from other religions or non-religious people do this also, but as an official doctrine jws will not kill one another in war, and in general there is a genuine effort to exercise "agape" love not widely found in the world at large.. 2) preach the good news.

Yes, 1914 in Russell's era that is true.

However as the remaining "Bible Students" often point out...... JWs founder is really Rutherford.

Within our present structure 1914 is based on Rutherford's intepretations and shufflings.

And yes if you are a 'spiritual' person then it has merit in comparison to Galatians.

As for as Jah's purpose for Christ to reign as King, well to the best of my knowledge such a belief is held all professing 'Christians'.

So now I am little lost on how the WTS plays part in that for you as an individual in your walk....
