  as i have previously mentioned, i have been df'd for about eleven years.

  recent issues have brought me back to meetings for a bit.

  of course, the elders desire to talk to me about my options.. .

  i definitely support science, i think that the entire field is fascinating.

  the things that have been discovered and that will be discovered in the future is mind-boggling.

  i do wonder, however, if there is some things that science can't explain.

  I don't know..... I wish there were fairies like in Louisa May Alcott's Flower Fables.

  I spent hours trying to see the Marfa Lights....got nothing when others were seeing something.

  I think people have enate senses we attribute to 'gut' or 'intuition'.

  I think people feel/see things when they desire to see something.....been to a lot of "haunted" places got nothing but a moment of my own irrational fear which my dubbie brain auto-corrected.

  I want to understand well-witching....just haven't figured it out yet fully.

  Generally speaking...today's supernatural is tomorrows science explained, I mean technically didn't Jah want humans to have 'accurate knowledge'....so kinda leaves little room for supernatural over science

  Skirts and trousers (pants if you're in the US)

  just what is it that the watchtower thinks is so much more modest and respectful to jehovah about wearing a skirt instead of trousers?

  that is, unless you live in a culture that has trousers as the norm for women, as in india.. something today brought this to my mind.

  i can't even remember what it was, but it led to thinking again about this.

  i don't know how or why, but this morning i woke up and did not vomit!!!!!!!!

  i'm keeping my fingers crossed but could i finally be getting some relief????

  I guess having grown up hearing about 'the old days' where rooming was more abundant .....never thought it was odd/weird.

  i wish i could be one those women who absolutely love pregnancy, i really do.

  but i honestly don't care for it at all.

  it was the same with my first pregnancy.

  What does your mid-wife think the culprit is

  estrogen

  helicobacter pylori

  increased sensitivities to smell

  Did she talk to you about B6 vitamin (usual dose is 10-25 milligrams 3x day).....if not ask what her thoughts are on the subject

  Make sure you keep watch for dehydration too as it happens so quickly with morning sickness.

  I wish I could give you my experience......I loved every second of being pregnant, only had morning sickness at the moment of implantating.

  No one really...

  Planned on being too busy aiding in the resurrections (or whatever assignment I was given).

  Perhaps 200 years vacation time spent selfishly learning/mastering/exploring/following my every intellectual delight.

  Returning to my work hundred years before Satan's loosening....

  My humble abode having 'There will be a final test at the end of the 1000 years' written above every door.

  This above plan only altered a bit when I had children to include encouraging them and to see them develop into their own persons and then me going into full time resurrection duties and an additional 200 years vacation time to spend with them ..... I married right before the 1995 generation change and thus accepted my hubby was a 'dead man walking'.....cuz I didn't think thanks to that 1989 WT article that we would be married more than 6 years.......(we are now approaching our 17th anniversary-whodathunkit!)

  I often secretly wondered exactly how long was 'a little while' for Satan to run amok......

  Never understood JWs who focused entirely on the 1000-yr reign....they were totally oblivious to the fact that they could fail or return to worldly when Satan was unloosed.....

  My greatest focus was surviving to see the 'Tent of God'......because it was only then I knew I couldnt fail .... I could stop proving myself worthy/loyal and just become a simple wife and mother living a very simple life......happiness.

  Betrayal

  so far when i have seen the word 'betrayal' or 'betrayed' on these boards, it's in reference to how we feel betrayed by the watchtower society, family, or individuals within the organization.

  we all understand this feeling well.

  i can relate to many of the sentiments expressed.. but the other night with my therapist, towards the very end of the session, the word 'betrayal' came up in reference to myself.. the therapist noted that i seemed to be 'holding back' with her.

  I think some of us try to inject the broadened parameters into the 'we'......

  By including others slowly (like very cautiously slow) we take the fear of change/different....

  But she sooooo nailed that explanation!!
