  The Watchtower and the UN--MY letters and Brochure--

  i wrote the wt for a year before i was df'd over the wt-un/dpi-ngo deal.

  i have all of my letters, the wt jerkoff letter back to me as well as a compilation of a simple little brochure, documenting that the wt was more involved with the un than for a library card.

  if you would like to see and read it, i would like your feedback.

  old pink songbook / pamphlet style one

  I remember the pink one very well and I've seen these on e-bay every once in a while ranging from $5.00 and up to $20.00. Saw one in a used book store up north one day but never had any urge to pick it up. The "Loyal Love" song is also in the current JW songbook.
  
  About the Green bible, I remember that too and still have a few copies of those musty smelling things. I remember though before we had those we had blue or brown leatherette American Standard Versions (1901 edition), that was before the New Worst Translation.

  Revised "United in Worship" book leaves out chapter on blood???

  this blue book united in worship, was studied before baptism.

  in 2002 we got the updated version...was it any different?

  only two small changes.. 1980 - united in worship-.

  In response to the first post above, the Middle Eastern version of "United in Worship of the Only True God" (uw-Q) is still being used for recruiting in the "free home bible studies". The 20th chapter is still the same concerning blood. No changes in the Middle Eastern version. The printing dates on this one are 1983, 1988, 2005, printed in Tel Aviv.

  It does sound a bit incredible. I would use caution as the others in the posts above have said. These type of statements have been used in the past to fish out publishers who may be suspected of being weak in their allegiance or going to the apostates. Be careful.

  btw havent forgotten other topic, meg and i will look at that later.. megan had a long long labour, the induction took aaaaaaaages but things suddenly sped up at 15:00pm and by 16:45 he was out.

  Did You Enjoy Listening to the Scriptures on Tape?

  reading the scriptures took on a whole new meaning when listening to the written word elloquently delivered on tapes.

  I never did enjoy listening to the tapes. Most of the time the proper names in Chronicles and other geneological listings were mispronounced and that bugged me more than just about anything. And some of the more dramatic ones, with musical accompaniment and sound effects was overkill and took away from any real enjoyment from listening to the "Scriptures".
  
  When listening to wt on tape I felt I was a judge at a talent show tryout.
