  Special Needs talk at our Hall tonite...

  talk was about appreciating jehovah's provisions, something like that.... the po gave the talk.

  apparently, after the last co visit, our congo got a letter from headquarters, informing us that our numbers are wayyyy down.

  several inactive publishers, several more irregular, poor meeting attendance, and our hourly average is less than the national average (8.3 compared to 9.9).

  We got the same 'recommendations' in our meeting last night. These are the highlights (you may want to get a bucket, because you may feel nauseated):

  1. You brothers should ask Jehovah for forgiveness if you don't have two bible studies. It looks like Jehovah is asking for a quota now? Pharisees!
  2. When the CO comes you should give money to cover his expenses, but don't worry we got it covered. We just take the money from the CBox without telling you now. You don't need to rise your hand if you approve the expenses any more, but it is good idea to give him additional cash and food for the dinner and breakfast. What?!!! Paul worked. Why the CO can't? Pharisees!
  3. The numbers are down. It is your fault! Go and do more! What?!!! Pharisees!
  4. Pedos? What pedos? That's a lie! They didn't even mention the thing. Most of the brothers and sisters in our congo doesn't know or don't want to know. Pharisees!!!

  That's my rant. Thank you for tuning in. Next episode: Eating turkey is a sin.

  Elders: Help for research about Reporting Child Molestation

  if any of the people reading this is an elder too, please help me to do some research.. the only letter that i've found to all the bodies of elders about this matter is dated feb 15, 2002. in page 4, it has a section titled "reminders regarding the handling of cases involving child abuse".

  it says mostly to "call the legal department for assistance".

  it says that child abuse is a crime, but it doesn't specify that the authorities should be called.

  What to really expect from the JW's from the latest News

  as wonderful as the coverage was concerning abuse of children in the watchtower organization, i think most of us deep down know that it will be ignored, denied and/or described as apostate lies.. the most we can hope for is enlightenment of the general public to the fact that jw's are no different than any of the other religions they point fingers at.

  it will make it more difficult to get a listening ear at the door.. the jw's exist in a very small world.

  they are taught anything not coming from headquarters is basically lies.. any mistakes made were due to old light, or as i have heard from my own relatives...."well, the entire world didn't know any better so the "organization" is just catching up like everyone else.

  hi guys,.

  i was raised as a jw and was baptised when i was 16. i am now 35 and have finally realised that "the truth" is actually the opposite.. my family has a long history of mental illness and i am "lucky" to only suffer deppression and panic attacks.i believe what i was taught as truth has effected me adversely.

  e.g " you won't have to go to school son, armageddon will be here before then.

  a producer with nbc in new york called within the past hour to tell me that the segment i interviewed for (once in nashville, tn in august and once in washington, dc in october) is set to air tonight on nbc nightly news with brian williams, that is, if no huge calamity takes place to bump the feature.

  this piece will be two minutes and 45 seconds long, the longest slot nightly news has for topics of interest, and will feature a discussion about the court documents that are found on the cd i recently produced, "secrets of pedophilia in an american religion, jehovah's witnesses in crisis.

  in addition, nbc's internet site, msn, will follow with a detailed story.

  Belief System Flowchart

  often we see flowcharts, on how to solve a problem, like in medical books.. so i was thinking if it was possible to make a religious flowchart, and try to reach a logical outcome.... make your belief flowchart and post it here .
