  the same very, very reliable source has confirmed that the book study will be amalgamated with the tms and sm.. this same source recently had a long and private conversation with a gb member.

So- He confirmed the scoop. Now, what will the new name of the meeting be? the BS-TMS? Dear brothers, "Welcome to the BS meeting, for short". Hey, don't tell anybody.   Major announcements are not made on Sundays! (Reality check)

  lets get a few things straight........ major announcements are never major announcements.. announcements are never made on a sunday and would most likely be in the km handout and covered by a talk assigned to someone most likely unable to speak publicly.. the book studies are the least likely to get axed, because we all know this is the forum to remain during the time period when religion will be banned in the u.s. and the witnesses come under persecution.. so will everyone please calm down, this is worse than the witnesses just before 1975.. r..

  Last week we heard the give some money to the missionaries so they can go to the international assemblies 3 times! Sun - Thu - Sun. It looks like Sundays are not sacred anymore.

  Ditching the Book Study. Is it just a Buy Now, Pay Later option for the WT?

  it's unconfirmed and it may be nothing more than a rumour but it seems that the congregation book study may be about to see it's demise.

  i think this could have a very positive effect as far as the watchtower is concerned for quite a few years.. the mood will be lifted.

  there will be a whole new evening of freedom and the brothers will be happy for it, don't underestimate the goodwill this will generate.

  Maybe the reason is the low attendance to that meeting. They can keep tabs better this way. Or maybe they know I am offering the people in my study group a different food!
