  I'm going to end my "bible" study

  i posted a while back, i've been studying with a nice jehovas witness lady for probably about 6 months.

  after a few weeks i googled a few things (earthquakes, how long we've been on earth, ect.

  ) i realised she was very misinformed.

  That is the best news I've heard all day and I'm glad we have helped you to come to that conclusion.

  Oh if only 30 years ago I had access to an internet things would have been different.

  See folks on the forum, this is what we do, this is how we can stop the Watchtower Organization from taking over more lives then they already have.

  I do hope you find what your looking for KristiKay and I'm glad you won't let the Watchtower take control of your life.

  If you really do like the women your studying with tell her that from now on what you want to do is switch off with her, one week study her stuff and the next week your stuff. Bet she won't do it.

  Sorry Marvin,

  I do try to check my pm's at times but I most often get a message that says

  "an error occurred" so I can't see them I just tried again a moment ago and got the same message

  The PM thing doesn't seem too reliable to me

  I did not see any real problem with the Fox segment.

  I thought that O' Reilly could have used a better illustration than tides ... but he does not worship the moon.

  Of course O'Reilly doesn't worship the moon. He doesn't even know the moon causes the tides to go in and out.

  He said to Silverman "The tide goes in the tide goes out you don't know why" which was the O'Reilly explanation for there being a God

  Well on second thought, maybe he does think the moon is God.

  Would that make him a Lunatic.

  hi to all, i have been on this site some years ago and have contributed articles exposing the hypocrisy of this organization.

  i was brought up as a jws.

  served as an elder and special pioneer attended the ministerial training school been an instructor of the pioneer school till disassociating myself from the borg in 1994.. being an active jws is not an easy life and involves all your time, hardly you have time for yourself.

  Question for former / current elders re: KM 'schools'

  before your "awakening" when you were a fully active elder...were there things presented by the speakers that made you feel uncomfortable or that something was not right?.

  Absolutely,

  There was an elder in our hall, (old school) who would talk about the importance of reaching all those in our territory he would say on stage,

  "If we don't reach them, they're all going to die"

  Also used to bother me when a speaker would say "if Mother suggests something would we have some better idea?"

  There are other things I just can't think of them right now

  Sorry about the dead link. Wannabfree and just n from bethel made me aware that the blacked out areas were showing through so I had to pull it from sendspace.
