  it appears that obves started a ton of threads 9 years ago here on jwd/jwn.

  all of them [that i have seen] filled with prophetic utterances regarding determining the end.

  over those years, all the dates have failed.

  JW at work hitting on me!! (for real)

  on another thread i mentioned i met some jws at work within the past 2 months.

  well, 2 of them became particularly interested and getting to know me (a lady and a guy) the lady is really nice, and the only reason i know she is a jw is because she mentioned something about no b-days or christmas and that was it... she has not tried to preach to me or anything.... .

  on the other hand... this young guy, well he is making sure he becomes my friend, asked me to be my fb friend and messages me everyday at work or on fb... now the funny thing is he told me he is a jw and about 3 times already he had suggested i read my bible (whenever i post status about being bored or unable to concentrate on homework), well yesterday he sent me a message that said "i would like to talk to you tonite, maybe we can hit it up" my reaction was .

  Could The Watchtower and Awake Collapse?

  this is not a prophesy, folks, but rather a train of thought to pursue about the organization, especially in light of its recent legal problems.. could the magazines collapse?

  the watchtower is published in 188 languages?

  and the awake a rather huge number as well?.

  In my book they have collapsed. They are nothing. There so called increase is actually a decrease per capita of the world population they are not the fastest growing religion nor are they even a religion recognized by the majority of the worlds population. Their narrow road is getting narrower and not many want to even walk on it

  i am sorry ,but my daughter will not be in my will.. her dughters my grand kids, that,s another story,.

  it,s not their fault they do not know me.

  comtemplating, in my will the money that i leave.

  If I only had known ...

  since i started having sex , i changed my doctor, this new one prescribed me control pills for extra safety ... well, it turns out i have my hormones unbalanced and thats why i had such a terribles, painfuls periods, i had to loose days at work, lots of pain killers and sometimes even er .... uuughhhh i went to so many doctors and nobody knew what was wrong, they just kept saying,, is normal to have pain during the period....

  Would you hire a JW?

  tasked with hiring a new employee, iff you were looking through potential employee candidates and you were asked to pick one to hire, would knowing one is a jw put that candidate in a negative light?.

  I have some at my company. They're a pain in the ass. They never want to work overtime IE Saturday. And they really aren't dedicated to the company. I use to have a truck driver and we couldn't get him to make late deliveries on his meeting nights. They're more trouble then their worth.

  "Mentally diseased" article to be published in The Independent tomorrow

  hi everyone.

  as a parting gift to you all before i take a much needed break from this forum, i thought you would be pleased to know that the independent, a leading uk newspaper, will be publishing a piece on the "mentally diseased" watchtower article in tomorrow's edition.. i would like to thank everybody who has assisted the journalist, jerome taylor, in his investigation.. best wishes to all of you,.

  As the Watchtower continues to shoot themselves in the foot over and over, the satement "Mentally diseased" will sting them hard this time.

  They better start having their lawyers read all the articles before they publish.

  What Do You Say or Is It Better to Saying Nothing?

  i miss some of my old watchtower friendships.

  usually i can just put the people out of my mind but when a big event comes up like me expecting my first child, i did reach out a bit.

  this one friend in particular was kind of like an older brother to me.

  I agree that you should say nothing to him. It's over and you have a new life with a child coming soon enjoy your family and new friends and forget about these people they are not worth it.
