I too was an elder, PO, etc. etc. but my child grown now and spouse is still in i'm working on them to get them out my child knows there is alot of BS but we did such a good job of indoctrinating base on the borg's (nickname for org) instructions it's going to take some time.
Glad to see that the exodus is coming from all areas and groups. It looks like the waters are drying up on their side.

when i was younger i used to have terrible convulsions and hear "voices".
my mom was convinced that it must be "the demons".
the congregation prayed over me and eventually i went to a doctor that was able to figure out why i was so sickly and presto: everyone's prayers were answered..
One woman in the KH I was an elder in talked to me and another elder a few times and said she had demons in her house. She also said they were everywhere and even in the KH. I suggested to her that she may need to talk to a Psycoligist or some other mental health proffesional and she got a little irritated with me. It's a wonder that many more borg members aren't wigged out by demons the borg instills the fear in all it's members. Oh Oh I think there is one behind me right now gotta go

I doubt there are any pictures in the WT publications of mixed racial marriages or even couples dating for that matter would be interesting to see what those on the forum might come up with

i know the wts wants to hit 7 million jw publishers and i think that it will go over 7 million but how much beyond 7 million will it go?
we see a slow down in the preaching work and the innoculating effect that the internet has.
the jw virus is not as potent as it used to be.
When my wife and I became borg members almost 30 years ago we checked it out before getting involved but sadly there was no internet so all we could find was one book in the library and we didn't know at the time it was written with the borg's blessing. I can safely say if we had been contacted during the internet age we would have found the truth about the (truuuth?)

Many good points, funny I've learned more about Jehovah and Jesus and the Bible in the last year since i've faded and turned to the internet for information than I did in 28 years of association with the fds.
Thank you for the hard work you have put into this. Finallly I look forward to the weekly WT studies. Though we don't normally attend the meetings anymore my wife and I enjoy the study articles with comments we wouldn't hear at the KH

often, i find myself doing google searches for people who i went to kh with years and years ago.
i try to find clues of what they're up to, search out the ones who were "weak in their faith", and try to see if they are still hanging on, or have "fallen away from the truth".
i look for people my own age to find out what they're doing.
After fading out of the borg we have realized how tolerent our family was of us and our beliefs when we were active in the borg. They, "those worldly people" were much more tolerent then we as Jdubs were of them. We are so glad now that we put effort into keeping a relationship with our family while we were active in the borg.
