We started our fade a year and a half ago and we are happy to say nobody cares oh they say they do but actions speek louder that words which makes us quite happy they are leaving us alone. It keeps my blood pressure down.

i moved and told nobody - by the time they figured i was 'weak', it was too late - i was gone.

Yea quit your job if you have to, you can always wash windows or do other janitorial duties. After all the spiritual food you will recieve will make you fat. Most of the Jdumbs are fat. Also don't forget to put on your listening ears people. The first talk each Friday morning is about listening. The one my wife and I remember the most several years ago the man (he's not my brother) started out with a loud call--"Are you listening, are you listening" it made us feel like we were at a junior assembling and the principal was telling us to pay attention.
Last on I went to was 2006 and I only lasted a day and a half had to leave because my blood pressure was so high they told me at first aid to go to the hospital. I knew then that the Borg was killing me.

I think those of us in cities where DA's are being held should go to resturants in the evenings and ask borg members why they dress so ridiculisly even when they go out to dinner at night. We could even add that we would never become a JW because we would not want to have to dress the way they do.
These dress codes were established many years ago when the general public dressed like that it's crazy for them to look so different then everyone around them that they are trying to appeal to it automatically alienates people to any message they might have. That's a good thing. Let em keep dressing like 1940's businessmen.

some 2,013 years ago, a baby boy was born in a small town in the middle east, and he grew up and lived around 30 years before being put to death.
today, two millenniums later, over 2 billion people claim to follow that man, and they claim that this man lives, even though he died!.

If so, where does the Holy Spirit fit in?
Is the Jesus God still a seperate person now?
Is the Father God a seperate person?
Is the Holy spirit God a seperate person?
I remember growing up as a Catholic, the trinity was illistrated as an egg:
Three different things making up one whole, yoke, white, shell.
Is this what God is, an egg and if so what part is the Father?
I really don't know who Jesus is anymore. I thought I knew when I was a Jdumb but now I'm back on the search so these are questions that have come up in my search mode.

Did you help clean the Kingdom Hall, yard work, maintenance?
by Thechickennest inat one hall i attended for serveral years had a lawn covering large man-made burms with trees and bushes.
it was a difficult yard to mow and maintain.
i have often wondered why we all pitched in and worked so hard for nothing.

I was there many times and one thing I would always notice is most of the people there just stood around talking there were only a few of us that did all the work. And then some would show up after the field circus and start talking to the ones that were working it was all a show and it would have been better to just hire a maintanace company to come in quarterly and do the cleanups.

Kid's playing sports?

when my son was 8 years old they had a t-ball league in the summer at the nearby park.
because of the borg training we told him he couldn't play t-ball.. that kind of thinking just carried on throughout his life from junior high through high school.

That kind of thinking just carried on throughout his life from junior high through high school. He would have be good in sports but instead had to forget about any organized sports. It makes me sick to think about how much he missed because of our beliefs.

the special training for elders in upper state new york and that the elders are being told .
to go back to their congregations and to get them ready for the great tribulation.. i said to her that is great news !!!!

My wife gave me a good illistration on this one: (It was easy to understand because I am in this position)
"If a Father who owns a business put's his son in charge of his business, how would he feel if no one working for him or the customers of the business went to his son for answers but continued to go to him?"
I would think he would be pretty pissed off because his son is not getting the respect he deserves.
