  I find it is fruitless to try and show somebody the error of a literal biblical view of earth's history when they are hell-bent on believing it. My uncle has a PhD in psychology but he believes in the biblical flood. I've tried to show him scientific evidence to the contrary but he reverts much to the same attacks as rollerdave and refuses to acknowledge anything that might damage his beliefs. The jury is not "out" on evolution, either. It is as valid as the theory of gravity.

  if adam was 130 when seth was born, then we know that eve was not 130 at that time.

  we here in the fl panhandle were "blessed" to have some 25 ish y/o brothers from tx move here recently.

  they had the usual welcoming party two weeks ago, and all the young bros from mobile to fort waalton showed up to welcome them!

  the only thing was, there was no elder to supervise!

  hi guys!.

  as many of you know, i'm still inside the borg, but my mind is completely disconnected.

  i had a chat with some friends during the week, and they started sharing experiences they had, dealing with demons in the past.. i heard some stories from brothers from cuba, that used to be mediums or "saints", and how the demons "immediately started to attack them when they started learning the truth(tm)".

  Aleman, you've just explained what white blood cells and albumin are, I already know what they are. What you haven't given me is a reason why one is acceptable and one is not - biblically OR medically - according to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society Inc.
  
  They are both components of blood, and albumin is a far larger component of blood. Why the distinction? Why should white blood cells NOT be allowed?
  
  I gave you an example of a mother who is forbidden from giving a partial white blood cell transfusion to a leukemic or immunodeficient child, according to Watchtower dogma, whereas she naturally gave that same child numerous units of white blood cells when it was nursing.

  You still haven't answered the question, I don't know if this is just because you lack the reading comprehension to grasp it so let me spell it out clearly and succinctly:
  
  What is the MEDICAL or SCRIPTURAL basis for the society's current list of approved and non-approved blood fractions?
  
  Why are white blood cells forbidden but albumin listed as acceptable?
  
  The society is WRONG on this and people have DIED as a result but you defend this decision so I want to hear your reasoning.
