  Special Bethel Talk Last Week

  as you know i still attend all meetings with my still-in family.

  last sunday a bethel speaker came to our hall (crenshaw congregation) and gave two talks.

  one on "avoiding satan's snares" and the other on "showing patience towards jehovah and his organization.

  Hi BeBoard. I was one of those stupid people who listened up about education back in 1975.. That this kind if nonsense is till being said really really upsets me, If i were you i would leave at soon as you feel ready and can. What you did with that sister was great. I also no of many that forewent their pensions, when they were the most generous they ever are going to be.

  Mr Porter Sentenced!

  just saw the news here this evening in the uk.

  mr porter who was in the news a few weeks ago who was convicted of crimes against children in his care, now living in london but formally from the bristol area has had his case looked at again and is on his way to jail for an 18 month sentence.. sorry guys dont know how to do the link thingy but it will be on the bbc webpage as it was the bbc i was watching.. now that's what i call "good news".

  Hi Triplestrength, Thanks for the info I have been watching out for this but must have missed it. Glad to se he received a custodial sentence. I hoped for a longer on though.

  remember when i posted a possible job interview at a daycare center...well, i've had 2 phone interviews and 1 face to face coming up in an hour.. getting this job will make or break me at this point...lol.

  anyway..i'm excited and nervous at the same time... be back later to let ya all know what went on.. ~freedom frog~.

  just reading this board and seeing the effects of this religion makes me sick.

  sure those who stay in, who are spiritually asleep (imho) are okay--but what about those of us who woke up?

  Hi Dinah,

  The way I made them pay is by leaving them. I also post here because i enjoy it and to encourage and support those who are leaving.. I think like the saying goes " don't get mad get even".

  I became JW when 18, as soon as thought it was wrong I went.

  I think campaigning against them is the best way to get even as you and most do here.

  They will never fix what they have broken they do not care

  i asked the deary and she said yes she would so love that!!.

  My daughter got shunned today.

  my 12 year old daughter works in the office at her school.

  a sister was checking her son in late and the secretary said,"courtney will get you a late return slip.

  " and lisa just turned around and left.

  Hi momz

  What a great daughter u have. I would hate to think anyone would treat my 14y daughter like that just because I have not been for 7 or 8 years.They really are unkind.
